Comment: I called and spoke to the rep a few times over a two day period to make sure the part was available and exactly as described. I drove over one hour each way only to find the part was not what I wanted, it was the wrong shape and wrong finish needing chrome and tubular and it was flat and all black. The next day being so disappointed I reached out to the general manager and I was pleasantly surprised that he actually cared even though the part is a relatively inexpensive one. The manager is amazing, during our conversation he actually texted me photos to be sure the part is the correct one, his customer service is amazing. If you are driving a long distance to get a part, make sure you get a photo to be sure you and your rep are talking the same item. Thanks to the upper management for caring and getting me the part I need. This may turn out to be a 5+ star service once I get the part I need, the management actually cares about all their customers. Thank you.

But what do I know?I have the same shop fix my brakes and mention it hasnt been running the same; they told me it was running fine. I start to believe its 15 yrs old and maybe this is the end. I was about to throw my car away. It was running so badly one week and decided to try Fox Auto. Fox was so gracious when I was dropping it off: They cautioned me they were backed up and it might be a few days, and they cautioned me they may not be able to do anything with what I was describing and should consider taking it to a Benz specialist i.e. we dont want to waste your time and take your money for just taking a look at your car. They fixed it!

Comment: Been here a dozen times, as I own 9 cars. Always needing a part for the older ones. If you know how to pull the parts, they probably have it here. This particular time I needed tires for my sons Aura. They had 2 very nice condition tires for a lot less than perfect. The service and parts helpers are professional and knowledgeable. Theres plenty of parking and youre not pulling parts in the mud like some other places.

Comment: This auto shop for used you pull, new parts, and mechanic work is wonderful. They use ticket numbers for cars. When you call the customer service is wonderful and knowledgeable. They have done some major work on my 2004 Malibu and not only was the work done correctly the prices were competitive and better than most. They never just do the work everything is always cleared with the customer. They have even given me discounts and free wiper blades when I had the car in for a lot of work. It is dealership quality (or better) without the dealership price. Highly recommend.

AFTER repair, drove the vehicle home, only for, a mere few minutes later, to start the vehicle and have the EXACT same issue I took it in for in the first place AND for the second time because the first part was faulty, so they say. Im standing here for the third time over the last 3 weeks waiting to find out if Im going to have a vehicle to get my 4 children around in and get myself to work in the morning. Extremely angry. Never again.******EDIT******Originally, I gave this business a 1 star rating. After realizing how upset I was, Fox Autos employees went above and beyond to rectify the situation. Not only did I have my car the very next day, all problems fixed and vehicle test driven for 10 miles, but they also had it washed and even put over a quarter tank of gas in it. I definitely feel 100% different about Fox Auto Parts. Its clear that they do value customer satisfaction, and that means everything. Thanks Fox, nicely done 😉

Anytime Im in I always talk to Eric Fergeson, the most straightforward, honest, and knowledgeable service specialist Ive met. Ive been around the Ann Arbor and Ypsi area looking for the best deals because Im in college and not rolling in cash to put towards car repairs but if your looking for exceptional prices on parts and labor, Id recommend taking your vehicle here. As someone whos not really knowledgeable on cars Ive never felt taken advantage of when I take my car in for a repair or inspection. Honesty and quality all around. Keep it up!

Comment: When we originally contacted Fox Auto, we were search for an extremely difficult part to find at your typical auto parts store. My Fiance talked with Brandon, who located the part for us and said it needed to be shipped, but it was a wonderful price. Brandon said that if it was ordered before Noon on Monday it would be in by lunch time on Tuesday. My Aunt called and paid for the part in full and re-verified that if she paid Monday that it would be in by the next day. Brandon assured he that it would be in and if there were going to be any problems he would contact her. Tuesday came and my Fiance was not contacted by Brandon, he had to call him to find out that the part did not get shipped like he said it would be. Its a shame that My Aunts car is now down for a 4th day due to this part and the fact that Brandon did not relay the information properly in regards to the shipping. Dont make promises you can not keep.** UPDATE - I want to thank everyone at Fox Auto for fixing the issues and having the right part when my Fiance came to pick it up.
