Although the outcome was definitely unexpected, I’m grateful these folks revealed that my car, (well the car I was borrowing from the credit union) is damaged beyond repair from a previous accident. I purchased the vehicle from its only owner in a nice suburb & trusted he disclosed the full history of the car, but what was revealed - after someone scraped their bumper down every panel of the passenger side - was an unstable frame.So…car shopping obviously suuuucks in this economy, but these guys offered to shake down the next one before I hit send. That’s an offer that helps the sting a bit!!

Moving here from Wisconsin I knew no one. My car was hit from behind. They took their time and did things right. When it was all said n done my insurance agent totaled my car. Ron and the crew and Kalamazoo Dunshees did the usual awesome job using new OEM parts on a 4 y.o. car to make it literally nicer than new! All the mechanicals were repaired correctly and of course, their metier, the body work and paint were flawless. They were realistic about VW supply chain issues and searched far and wide for that bloody impact bar to the point of having one of the guys from the Battle Creek shop pry one loose from a dealer in Kentucky on his way back from vacationing in a neighboring state!

The price point is average for automotive work, but the quality of individuals I feel like is above average. Namely, Ron and the various techs I had to work with. I would not hesitate to send my vehicle back to them.I signed off on a $800 inspection of the transmission, but the lead mech tech called me and said, sir this may not be necessary, and I dont want to charge you if I dont have to. Comment: I am blown away by and so grateful for the job the Dunshee team did on my Subaru Crosstrek! My rear hatch was smashed by a branch falling in a strong windstorm and tiny pieces of glass covered nearly the entire interior of my car. They replaced the rear hatch and re-connected and matched everything perfectly. Not only does the outside of my car look **pristine**, they managed to completely remove all of the pieces of broken glass from the inside. The broken glass was honestly what had distressed me the most as I worried I’d be finding pieces in there forever and that it might not be safe for others to ride in the back seat for that reason. Instead it’s like it never happened! They even cleaned the floor mats which now look brand new again. I would highly recommend this team for any body work or detail repairs.

I sent them my insurance information and they handled the rest. They sent me continual updates throughout the whole process. Comment: They over promised and under-delivered on repairs time. They added over 5,000 dollars in supplemental repair expenses and still added the 1,000 dollar deductible onto our final bill. While waiting for repairs, we spent thousands of dollars on rental vehicles. By the time we checked out our van was missing a cover for hanger hook and a tow bar hook cover was missing from the bumper. They did not originally offer discount or apologize for the extensions of estimated repair time. However, the owner did eventually follow up, and was very considerate. Thank you!

Comment: Bought tires online and needed to have them installed and balanced. also I was in need of an all wheel alignment. So I decided to give dunshee auto body a go because I figured they would do a better job then some chain automotive tire place. I definitely made a great choice. My mustang drives like its on rails. Rides Very smooth and drives straight on highway with no pull in either direction. I work during their business hours. However it was as easy as dropping my car off after work and picking it up the next evening. They called me when my car was done. I paid over the phone. The part I really appreciated was not only did they leave my receipt in car, but they also had a print out of my alignment specs before and after they worked on it. Great work and customer service Dunshee auto body and frame. I will be a returning customer in future. Forgot to mention how good on pricing they were!

Comment: I was driving through town and needed a plastic rocker cover reattached that day. After calling around for hours, they were the only shop that had availability to look at it.
