Comment: They replaced pretty much all of my front end parts on my 2019 Ram, thanks to Michigan roads. I had them put a lift kit on since they had to take everything apart anyway. I worked with quite a few staff members and Steve one of the owners. They have been amazing and Steve helped me pick the lift out, and lights. Ive never been told I appreciate you, I appreciate your business so much by a business owner before. They are very busy because of how they treat people. They know what they are doing. One day I stopped in to look at some of my parts that came in, while I was there I was amazed at how many vehicles they were juggling. Across the street there is a large auto repair place. There were two mechanics just hanging out looking at the place I was at. Obviously they do not have the same personality or do not have the same customer care or something, because the shop I went to is slammed everyday. This was my first time at Downriver and I will absolutely be back. Matter of fact I think I just sold another lift kit for them. Lol, maybe they can hire me🤣🤣

Comment: My son has a Jeep Rubicon with some crazy aftermarket suspension that was completed in a Florida shop. We had some issues with the suspension, and they were able to complete the work with no problem. In another visit, we had to replace the rear tire mount, oversized tire, and hard top because a storm took them out. Steve was awesome! He took care of everything and communicated with me throughout the entire process! They do quality work, they are very trustworthy, and pricing is very reasonable. I highly recommend this shop, especially if you are a Jeep owner! No other shop could touch the work we needed done! We have used this shop on more than one occasion, and they have been fantastic to work with each time!

Comment: My car somehow had an issue with the key programming, causing my car to not recognize my set, leaving it unable to start. After some confusion, my car was towed to this location, and they were able to diagnose and fix the issue in no time. This shop is very professional, and goes the extra mile to make sure you drive away a satisfied customer. The majority of shops will try to run up your tab, and fix things that are unnecessary. Downriver Spring does not fit that criteria. I will recommend them to others in the future, and will return for any other issues that may pop up in times ahead. Thanks, guys!

He did an awesome job communicating everything to me. He was very easy to work with and was very knowledgeable. Brian Miller was the mechanic that worked on my car. He is an expert. My 2011 jeep gave him a challenge like drilling out lug nuts which he did with no problem! My car drives like a charm. They even delivered my car to my driveway which I appreciated. I trust this shop and highly recommend them.

Comment: The guys at Downriver Spring know what theyre doing, and most of all, theyre honest. I took my vehicle in to be diagnosed (knowing that it had a number of issues). But after the diagnosis, they determined thst it wouldnt be wise to invest a lot of money in repairs. To make a long story short, I definitely need a new engine. They could have repaired the car enough for me to drive it off their lot, but they werent interested in simply taking my money. They take pride in their work. Whats more, when I dropped my car off, they drove me home, and picked me up the next day (no extra charge). I will definitely do business with these guys again. Awesome!😎

By closing time that same day, my car was not only diagnosed, but my new alternator was installed and it was ready for pick up!I was away at the time and not able to make it by the time they closed, so they allowed me to pay over the phone and offered after-hours pick up.My car is running great, their cost for labor is very reasonable, and they completed it in a single day, which is unheard of to me at least.Theres a reason they have such high reviews. Had to reinstall headers/exhaust manifold on my mustang but also fixed some other stuff they happened to notice along the way. It’s been awhile since my car has run this well!Only tip I could give is more communication - hire a part-time receptionist if needed. I had to keep calling to “check in” because I hadn’t heard anything. This is often typical with mech shops, but my car is my baby and a quick 3 minute call in the morning to let me know my car wouldn’t be ready when estimated because the mechanic called off, got stuck working on another car, or part didn’t come in, etc. would have gone a long away.Don’t wanna end this on a negative because I am super happy with the work and excited that I finally found a company downriver that seemed to CARE about my car and are real car guys too - not just there for the paycheck. I will be back with more work as I upgrade the Mustang.

Downriver Spring corrected the issues with my timing chain and corrected the issues with my engine. Not only did they fix my car properly, they kept me updated on the process. It was a very time consuming fix but Frank and Steve made sure that if I needed a ride they gave me a ride! They even got me a rental for a day so I could do some running around. They made sure I had a ride home when I turned in the rental. An employee named Greg picked me up from Enterprise and he was also very sweet! He opened the car door for me and everything. My experience with them was great! Not only did they fix my car but they made me feel special in the way that it wasn’t about making that dollar and sending me on my way, they made sure I was ok!

Comment: Yesterday, I brought my Minnie Winnie in for an oil change and installation of rear dually wheel valve extensions. As with my two previous appointments at Downriver Springs, the staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating and the work was very professionally, thoroughly, and reasonably done. I only wish Downriver Springs had another location…in Florida where I live!

Theyve worked on my mothers smallest vehicle to the largest, crew cab 3500 dually. Always a straightforward bunch of guys. Very professional and great work performed. Highly recommended.

Comment: From the second i called Steve, Travis, and Frankwere glad to help we had a malibu that kept stalling and the steering wpuld lock up. The whole team there did a great job at helping us resolve the issue. Comment: This place is FANTASTIC ! I would recommend them to ANYONE & EVERYONE!!! The guy at the front desk was so nice and helpful! I took my 04 Sierra Denali there to get my driver side Shackle fixed which had went through my bed of my truck!!!EVERY SHOP from here to Shelby Township told me between $600-$800!!! They did it for $100 but I had already bought the part!!They were fast and professional!!! Both times dropping off and picking up anyone I talked to was very nice!When they were done with my shackle they looked at my front end And gave me a list and the price it would be to get everything I needed fixed!I would like to thank these guys for fixing my truck!! You guys are awesome at would you do! My family and I appreciate it!! Thank you so much!! I will be back for the other repairs that need to be done

Comment: My 2011 F250 developed quite a clunk. Thinking it was the front end I took it to my mechanic. He said it was actually a worn big bushing between the body and the frame and he was not equipped to repair it. I called the dealer I purchased the truck from and they also said they were not equipped to fix it. What?! The dealer cant fix it?! So I called Downriver Spring. Not only were they familiar with the problem, they said they could fix it! While they had it I also had them replace a tie rod end that was on the verge of going and give it a much needed oil change. I enjoyed a nice quiet ride on the way home. Thanks Downriver Spring!

Comment: As with any auto shop people are goi g to complain. I have no complaints! Fair prices , fast work, even if there busy the guys will stop and speak with you. I took a company work van in , which i rely on daily. They were done with the work before i was even ready to pick it up. I have every intention of going back with my personal truck when it needs work .

Comment: Once again Down River Spring nails it! Asked Travis about leaf springs and got them and an additional leafy due to I smashed the first pack. So now the truck is ready for a good days working! Fixed my parking break issue, also found axel seals were leaking while back there, diagnose fixed, back to me in 2 days! Y’all are awesome! Comment: I phoned Downriver spring with an issue I was having with my vehicle. Steve was able to get me in and accommodate me with a courtesy ride to and from the shop ( The driver was awesome 😎) Upon arriving, I was greeted with a smile and a hello, how can we help you? The gentlemen were very upbeat,out going, respectful and just genuine individuals overall. They were able to assess my vehicle and fix it within a reasonable timeframe. Comment: I originally wanted one leaf spring replaced cuz it was broken n I had already been going through it trying to find the part on my own for a month..but I Google them n steve suggested it would b better to replace both on my fifth Avenue...at first I was like no but then I was like yea lets do it..we had sum miscommunication during this process but I can say overall these guys did a great job on car they went above n beyond just to make sure my car wasnt a stress of mines during this time. I appreciate that n will b back for a wheel alignment hopefully.

Comment: I own a lifted 5.7 dodge and to make a long story short it’s my baby. Personally I’ve always had bad luck in the past when it came to mechanics, even if I knew them personally i was never satisfied with their work or professionalism. When I took my truck to downriver springs I was hesitant to hand over my keys but after getting to know Steve and the other mechanics and after seeing their work I wouldn’t take my truck ANYWHERE else. Their honesty and workmanship puts me at ease and that is something I’ve never had with any mechanic.

Comment: They repaired the rear springs on my F 250 with 136000 miles on it and it is like new now. The work was performed on time and for the cost they quoted. We will be having our other work truck ,also repaired there soon. Very professional and friendly staff.

Comment: Thank you Downriver Spring Service. The Ford dealer could not get my alignment in specs on my 2012 Escape. I talked with Steve who set up my appointment. I dropped it off the night before and by noon the next day it was done. Excellent work by your guys. My alignment is now within specs and it drives and handles great.

Comment: Brought in my older Ford Ranger which is lovingly maintained but with a million miles and these guys definitely sorted it out. If you have the inevitable suspension issues that high mileage brings Ill tell you what your local mechanic will say: he cant do the job and probably cant even get the parts. If youre lucky he will direct you to DR Spring, as mine did. A fledgeling family business they do the job extremely well and go above and beyond. Steve and Travis are very hands on, (Travis took on a tricky frame welding job when it became apparent that this was also an issue) and are filled with advice and know-how. Highly recommended, friendly guys, quick, efficient and fair.

Comment: I own a lifted Jeep Cherokee and was having a hard time finding a shop to do an alignment (among other things) A friend recommended Downriver Spring and once I went there, I didnt look back! Ever since then Ive always received nothing but quality service. Theyre staff is friendly and straight forward. Their prices are fair, they do honest work and they only use name brand parts. Comment: Stop and read review! Bring your car here if you want it thoroughly EVAUATED and REPAIRED CORRECTLY the first time! I have had several of my families vehicles serviced here. From ball joints to alignments to electrical. To name a few real examples I’ve had an alignment on my focus, motor mounts in my transit, key fob and tire sensor programming on my durango, axle shafts on my raptor and suspension work on my 300 all done within the past 6 months. This is your 1 stop shop. They use name brand quality parts and only charge you for the actual hours spent on your vehicle. Unlike so many shops that make up their prices as they go along or feel like this business is totally transparent and honest and communicates with you and works within your budget to get your vehicle safe and you satisfied. I’m a real person who really gets my personal and business fleet serviced here. Any bad experience you have had with another repair place won’t happen here as these guys really fix your car and tell you exactly what they’ve done while so many places just want to profit on you. Trust me just try them 1 time and you will be extremely pleased with their service. To top if off they are polite and kind.
