Comment: Full disclosure: I preach about not going to shops. I couldn’t say enough good about this place. Honesty, Availability, Integrity, and they don’t cheat out their customers to try and make more money. Let me start off by saying this, I lost all brake power in my 98 4Runner. I searched for mechanic shops closest to me, and Dave’s came up. I showed up at 9:30-45pm on a Tuesday. Their closing hours are 5:30pm. I gave them a call when i showed up letting them know i would be dropping off a vehicle i needed to be repaired. 2 Rings and somebody picked up. I told them my problem, and they had somebody come out immediately and asked me to verbally diagnose the vehicle. They then had me come in the office and took my information, almost 5 hours after closing hours. Whole process took less than 10 minutes, also informing me they were backed up on work and it might be a while before they get to my vehicle. I called the following monday only to hear that they had already got to my vehicle and just didn’t have the time to call me yet when i called them. These guys don’t stop working obviously, and i commend them for that. I was also informed of things i didn’t know were wrong with my vehicle and that would be helpful to replace, what i love is i was only informed, not being talked into paying for something that wasn’t detrimental to me or the vehicle at the time. They also had first informed me that they would be needing to purchase a new caliper. I got a call the next day that they were able to use the old caliper, and that saved me about $200 right there. They don’t repair unless authorized by a phone call, no matter what you tell them when you arrive to drop off the vehicle. Surpassing Top tier service by far, and will definitely be back if i am in the area 2 tracking again and need an emergency repair! Dont quite remember the receptionist lady’s name, i think was megan, is very polite and understanding of vehicles, and doesn’t need to put you on hold to ask much. All around 5+ Star service, Atmosphere, And employees.

Comment: Brought my car here last week because my radiator was cracked. I bought a replacement online and Dave’s installed it and totally EXCEEDED my expectations. I only brought it in for the radiator and an oil change. Upon receiving my keys, I was notified that they found a nail in my tire and patched it for me FOR FREE. Not only that, they resurfaced my rotors while they were at it. I had assumed the last shop I brought it to had installed my tires incorrectly and I’ve been dealing with the tire leaking down to 20psi every two days for the last 7 months. The front desk employee was very knowledgeable and timely. They even let me drop it off a day early and had it done the following morning. Best part : they even charged me less than what I was originally quoted - FOR MORE WORK. Thank you Dave’s!

When i made it to Newaygo i heard a noise that wasnt good coming from the front end of my Tahoe. From experience i knew it was a wheel bearing. Its 1pm going into a holiday weekend. Im fully prepared to find out i wont get my car until Monday the 6th. After contacting roadside I had it towed to Dave. Unfortunately they did not have my part in stock and none of the parts shops in town had it either! With just 4 hours before they closed, they called a dealership in GR and the part was on its way to Fremont! While they waited for the part, my old one was removed and the new one was installed as soon as it arrived. I was able to have a free loaner car so I could continue to take care of my Christmas errands for the 3 hours that I waited for the repair!
