Comment: I had to leave a review and share how amazing, honest, and honorable Dan & Chucks auto shop is. I originally went to another auto place to get a Coolant Reservoir Tube repaired on my car. The first auto shop gavee a quote of $700 dollars. I felt overwhelmed by the price. I then took my car to Dan and Chucks Kar Kare in Redford Mi. They worked so hard to find the part that I needed. They even drove to pick the part up so that I could get my car fixed the same day. Dan and Chuck fixed my car for $300. They were honest about the price. I saved $400. Please go see them for your car needs! ❤️ So glad I went to them! I will continue to go to them for my car needs!

Comment: They were not money hungry. This was my first time here, I usually go to the dealership but I discovered them on Groupon looking for a wheel alignment. Side note: I knew I had some other issue with a joint or something because of creaking noises I’ve been getting, but it wasn’t my intent to fix for this visit.After inspecting the vehicle to make sure I needed an alignment and it was not something else, they came back and told me that a wheel alignment was needed, but that my vehicle was rusted out underneath (which I was aware of) and that they would be more comfortable with me taking it to a dealership. They also told me exactly what else was wrong, my front right and left control arms, which explains all the creaking I’ve been hearing. He wanted to show me what it was and why they flagged it, I declined because I don’t know nothing about cars, so I mama have known what they were talking about anyway, but he insisted that I be aware of this knowledge so people won’t take advantage of me.I did not end up using the Groupon, he explained to me how to be reimbursed for that purchase. And he charged me a really small amount for this impromptu (unplanned) inspection, and included everything discovered clearly on the receipt.Honest guys, patient, not out to get your money, seemed like he was genuine about the whole process. Some people don’t understand that repair places mean well. Kind of difficult to understand when they are telling you other things that are wrong with your car, but he didn’t press me to do the work on it, he just wanted me to be informed. It’s nothing worst than when you get a new repair to handle and the mechanic is like “you need to get this done asap, bla bla bla” and stresses you out, so I appreciate that he did not do that.Definitely would refer, don’t hesitate to come.

This was the 3rd place I called & the most affordable. Comment: My family has been using this mechanic for years, and my recent experience with a busted brake line reiterated how great they are. Theyre reliable and honest, and do excellent work. They even scaled back the cost of my brake line replacements from their original quoted price, because the lines werent as bad as they first thought - if that doesnt show honesty, I dont know what does!This is a small company, so they arent always the quickest, but the quality of the work makes it well worth any wait time.

Comment: I usually do my own repairs within reason, and Im wary of others working on my cars. Because of sub-zero weather and the complexity of the repair, I opted to look for a reputable shop. Deciding on Dan and Chucks turned out to be a fortunate choice, as this was my first visit. The shop/property is clean, they stayed in contact with me throughout the day, and most importantly.....I feel they were honest and fair. They only fixed what was necessary, but made sure everything was working properly. I now have a repair shop I can go to myself, and recommend to friends and family. Many thanks to Dan and George.

Comment: These guys dont mess around. They just want to fix your car and get you goin. The guy at the counter is a little curt, but only because he wants to get the job done quick for you. A family friend recommended me to Dan and Chucks and I highly recommend them too.
