Comment: Id like to start by saying Damiens Auto is not just the best experience Ive had with a mechanic but he has provided the best customer service I have ever had with *any* type of business. This is a shop that is a Nappa Auto Gold member but it feels like a mom and pop operation. In my experience Damien has always been quick to answer the phones, quick to get back to you, my car has been looked at and fixed the same day every time Ive brought it in so far.Perhaps more importantly, Damien is a genuinely good dude. He is honest, extremely fair in his pricing (in my experience there have been quite a few times he doesnt even bill for all of the work he has done), and he is very helpful even after the job is done. He went above and beyond to take care of me, offering his cell phone to reach out for assistance with issues I may run into on my roadtrip across country, providing guidance on code reader results along the way, preparing me for what I may be able to expect along the trip and what to look out for, and has answered all my questions including ones pertaining to work I had done by another mechanic when I ran into issues on the road due to my own mistakes.I wish I could give him more than 5 stars. He took care of me, gave the same exceptional service to my mom, and I am confident he will take just as good care of you as well.This place deserves all the business they can handle. I truly have never met a mechanic that is so honest, capable, and willing to help. You will be in great hands.

Comment: I got to work with Damien and his wife personally after a mound pothole claimed the life of one of my tires. They were recommended by AAA so I took it. I made a mistake telling them what kind of tire I needed and was never treated like I was stupid (even though my mistake was pretty stupid lol), which is kind of hard to come by being a young female at an auto place. I’m a car enthusiast so making a mistake like that hurt my pride a little bit.. but nonetheless they got me set up and taken care of within 24 hours and for a good price. I know I only replaced the tire there, but the way I was treated and listen to, I would feel confident going back there for any future problems.

Comment: Update 9/8/2020:Brought my Minivan, that my wife uses to drive the kids around, in to address a check engine light. Josh gave me a couple of options and his recommendation. He stayed late to make sure I got the van back ASAP. Great services again. Highly recommend.I had a long time mechanic that I trusted but the issues my vehicle was having needed some extra care. I picked Damians based on the reviews. I stopped in on my way to a kids soccer game to feel it out and Damian himself was at the front desk and took the time to answer all of my questions. I dropped off my 2004 Trailblazer with several issues and he spent the next several days going the extra mile to get it back on the road. He found parts at a junk yard to save me money and wouldnt give it back until he was sure all of the issues were resolved. Rarely do the reviews live up to the experience but so far with Damians that has been my experience.

Comment: 2 weeks ago, I took my 2009 Fusion in to change the transmission fluid and get an oil change. The process of changing the trans fluid was explained to me, and pictures of the fluid before and after were shown. a little over a year ago, another place changed the fluid and did it wrong, leaving the fluid as dark as muddy water. Since then, my transmission has been shifting much smoother. I would highly recommend Damians for their customer service and their work.

Comment: Went to auto pro due to a rattle in my suspension and they found it was the sway bar bushings. After spending $130 on new bushings my sway bar rattle was louder then ever. AUTO PRO looked into it and said my new struts may have not been Installed right and I needed a new control arm for $490 plus the price to install the strut correctly. I had second opinions in my head and went to another shop at 16 and mound called damians auto service where they found out that my sway bar bushings were not installed correctly and were loose. No more rattle or sound and charged me nothing!!This place is amazing g and I loved my experience!!! I think I found my new place to go!!!!

Comment: I recently took my 1999 Toyota Camry to Damians auto service in Sterling heights for an oil leak. In a very short time it was determined the the valve cover gasket needed to be replaced. At the same time I had their techs diagnose a squeak in the drivers side front end. It was determined that the sway bar bushings needed to be replaced. Im pleased to say that both issues were repaired in a timely manner at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend Damians auto service

They agreed to take a look and after taking the time to diagnose they told me the problem was more complicated to repair and was better to leave it alone than to spend money to fix it. They did not charge me anything, not even diagnostic fee and I know they spent a lot of time and effort to look for the problem. They were really too generous, I am not the type that looks to take advantage of anyone. I sincerely appreciate their honesty and generosity. I would have paid them for the diagnostic time and time they spend in trying to find the problem, but they insisted in not.

The dealer kept missing appointments and then finally got the car there. Damian got the car inspected immediately, and then offered to not charge me because of the Dealer problems!!! That is possibly the best customer service Ive ever had. Love these small shops with honest, dedicated people running them, and who care about what they are doing and how they treat people. Comment: I went to Damians Auto Service for repair of my suv. They fixed it, and I was pleased with both the service and friendly attitude. They explained what was wrong and actually showed me the broken part (rear wheel bearing). Damians Auto Service is the only place Ill ever take my vehicle.

Comment: By far the most reliable and honest mechanics around. Just recently took my car in for a squeaking noise coming from front drivers side wheel. The guys there took ownership of the issue and covered it free of charge as I had break work done months before. Ive been taking my cars there for many years without any issues.

Comment: As usual, Damian is awesome! Twice Ive gone there since my last review and both times received excellent service at great prices. I brought in my car to have the windshield wiper arm fixed and he took 10 minutes and there was no charge.Second time since my last review I brought it in for a transmission problem. I thought I was going to end up with an expensive repair and trash the car. Damian found a small issue with the lines and did an inexpensive repair and the cars lives today ! ! !I am going there today again for another repair so Damian, if you read this, Ill be there by 5:00. :-)

Comment: They were phenomenal with their Service! I had a bad starter on my Honda Accord 06, which they diagnosed and fixed it at a Lighting Speed pace. All was over in an hour or so and my car was back on road. Joe is great mechanic and Damian was a great guy to interact. Comment: Damians Auto Service is the best full service auto service center in the state. Damian is the most honest, and respectful professional auto technician i have ever met. I have known Damian for 8 years now, and he services the 4 vehicles that i own. My first vehicle was a 1996 Thunderbird that i purchased when i was 15. I was tricked into buying a vehicle that i thought was in good mechanical working condition, and had a rod knock in the engine. Damian volunteered his time to testify, and examine the engine in small claims court to help me win the lawsuit against the seller. Damian helped me win the case! He has always been completely honest with whatever service my vehicles need, and i truly respect that as a customer. He is also a great friend, and helps to get my vehicles serviced as fast as possible to get me back on the road. I have met a lot of auto mechanics and experienced too many issues when repairing my vehicles. But with Damian on my side, my cars are always happy.

All of my 5 vehicles are serviced ONLY at his facility in Sterling Heights. My favorite thing about Damian is his honesty. Comment: There was a smoke and oil leak under the hood of my car. I did some study on internet to know possible cause and cost to repair before taking it to the mechanic. I chose Damians Auto Service as their reviews were good. Damian greeted me with a smile and quickly checked the problem. Within 5 mins he came with the estimates. To my surprise, it was almost half of what I had expected. He asked me to wait for an hour. And I was all set. His team did the job well.
