Replacing a headlight used to be a DIY simple task, unfortunately that isn’t the case so often anymore. They called me and let me know that’s what happened and that they were driving 40 mins away personally to get the right parts for my car. They also let me know because of that, I was to expect delays on the repairs. They gave me a loaner for the extended holiday weekend. Got my car back and was extremely pleased with how well it drove compared to before the repairs. Will be going back again!

Comment: It is with great enthusiam and satisfaction that I write this review. I was referred to Curts Service by another mechanic. Talk about a blessing in disguise. I agreed to allow them to perform a full diagnostic on my truck and low and behold they were able to identify up to 3 code concerns Ive had over a few years that other shops would say wasnt an issue (but I knew there was). I love their online vehicle assessment equipped with photos and testing results that allow you to know what is wrong with your vehicle, whats a priority and agree to the services you want performed. I agreed to 9 of the 11 recommended repairs and now my truck is like new again. No codes, nothing lighting up, nothing locking up! I am pleased all the way around with their customer service. They will be my go to from here on out!

I had a encounter my oil cap was lost I initially went there for a oil change. Patrick ordered me another oil cap . They were bout to close. The oil cap havent came yet. It was on a Friday. He ask me to take one of their loaners home. Bring it back on Monday. I did have to work the weekend. Plus I would of been stranded there no way home. He really cared about me and my vehicle. Comment: I took my 2000 Toyota Avalon in to Curt’s to be diagnosed. I explained that car was leaking oil from the valve cover gaskets and I wanted to get a repair estimate so I could compare repair costs against the car’s value. (At 22 years old, the car’s value is quite low even in pandemic inflated pricing.). Upon hearing this the shop not only diagnosed and estimated the leak, but did a test drive and, brake and suspension analysis in order to give me a more complete picture of the cost of bringing it up to speed. They could have given me a tap dance about the value of the car vs. repair costs and tried to talk me into spending the money, but instead were straight with me and let me know that it probably wasn’t worth it. In addition they only charged about half of what they estimated the diagnosis alone would cost. I really appreciate the honesty they showed in our interaction. I had heard great things about Curt’s and was not disappointed. I’ll use their shop again in the future. Thanks again!

Comment: Phenomenal service! I brought my car here for a very strange power steering issue. I took it to 2 other shops including the dealer and none of them could fix it. These guys got it taken care of an had amazing communication. They take pictures of your vehicle and report any problems found during their through inspection. Comment: I am from Detroit, but live in DC. Three months ago I drove in to Detroit to see family, and my check engine light came on while I was visiting. I was worried about going to an out of town mechanic, but I also knew I couldnt drive 10 hours back to DC with an undiagnosed check engine light. Curts OUTDID THEMSELVES! I brought my car in and explained that I was getting back on the road in 2 days. The entire staff--from the front desk to the mechanic--was courteous and kind. They escalated my car because I was in a time crunch, and the mechanic called me with a very detailed explanation of the cause of the light. He diagnosed a major, but not safety related, repair. He was very honest in that I could forego the repair at the time, but Id need it tended to before winter. He did not try to upsell the repair or manufacture a crisis. I called my mechanic in DC, and Curts had even better prices! They got the work done in a day and my car has been in perfect shape since. As a single woman who has had mechanics (heres looking at you, Audi dealership!) try to take advantage of my naivete, I am always deeply grateful to work with honest, fair, compassionate mechanics who take the time to explain the problem and all the courses of action I could take. Comment: I had an oil leak and wasn’t sure where to have my car evaluated especially because the service technicians at the dealership where I bought my Terrain can be rude and just plain mean so I decided I wasn’t going there. My friend did some research and advised me the best place to go that wasn’t a dealership was Curt’s. Even though I paid extra to have my car towed there since it was farther it was what I believed was my best option. Curt’s was great from beginning to end. They advised exactly what was going on with my car in detail and what had to be done to fix it. They even sent a report of their findings to my phone via text. It was a pretty big job however, they had it done in days. They gave me a warranty for the work done and my car was even washed before I picked it up. Comment: I had my high mileage vehicle towed here on recommendation from tow truck driver this week, He mentioned that they may specialize in foreign cars (I drive a Mitsubishi). I was extremely pleased with everything about my experience with them. I left keys in Dropbox after hours and before I could call the next day, they reached out to me with a labor estimate to continue exploring for problem. She called again later that afternoon to fully explain findings and suggestions for future repairs. I had my car back that same day, original estimate was what I ended up paying as well. Comment: After contacting my primary auto mechanic and being told they could not get me in for almost a week, I contacted Curts and I am glad I did. I spoke with Ryan who briefly diagnosed the issue over the phone and before I knew it, Curts was under the hood same day. It is worth mentioning that the facility was very clean and well kept which is the way I want my vehicle to be cared for so that was important to me. After dropping my car off, Curts coordinated an Uber ride for me and covered the cost. I was contacted later that day and given repair options and never felt that I was being pressured into additional not-so-needed repairs. I also received a text with a link to a full diagnostic of all systems which is a valuable resource as I maintain my vehicle in the future. All repairs were completed in less than 48 hours and I was back on the road. Ultimately, I was extremely satisfied with the overall service and the price for the repairs was competitive and reasonable. It is safe to say I will return to Curts for all of my auto repair needs.

Comment: After having a self proclaimed “best European auto mechanic” attempt to repair my Volkswagen CC on two separate occasions (had it for 5 days each time), I took it to Curt’s to honor the warranty that the “best European Mechanic” gave me but couldn’t honor. Curt’s has it two days. Up dates as we went. Repaired perfectly on second day, called me to let me know everything prior to when I picked it up. Runs better than it ever had and the total bill including diagnosis was $340. I’ve NEVER been more satisfied with an auto repair facility in my life!!!! Comment: Brought my car in to have front struts replaced on a 2008 Jeep Patriot. The struts were original that needed replacing I had already got a diagnosis from the dealership, and I had called around to other repair shops however Curts had a better price plus I utilize the Costco coupon, which was a additional 15% off. I had an appointment to bring my car in, the Staff was courteous and set the expectation on how long the repair would take 4 hours. The repair took a little longer and due to the fact one of the old parts was rusted and had to be cut off.I saw all old parts. What I had requested to be fixed was repaired. In addition to what I thought was really nice the mechanic also notified me of some other items that needed attention in my 11 year old car that I wasnt unaware of, such as that my engine oil was critically low and my power steering fluid was low. Jason was very nice and helpful and put oil in my engine to get it to a safe level, he wanted to make sure I get safely to where I was going oh, and I really appreciate that, thank you! Overall my experience at Curts was a good one.

Comment: I have a 95 Mercury Villager that Im trying to keep mechanically sound as long as I can. I started having problems and found out that I needed a Neutral safety switch replaced. I got online and did my research. Curts Auto had wonderful reviews so I called and got an estimate. I also called around & Curts was the best price. They also were very informative and helpful on the phone. After all those salty Michigan winters the part was corroded and gave them a number of problems getting it off. They came to me & explained the situation and how much more it might cost. Due to their expertise, they were able to improvise & fix my mini! Yay!! Comment: Where do I start... first I had emergency with my truck earlier Thursday morning. My engine light and oil light was coming on, an telling me to stop engine. I was so nervous, so I got on my computer to find a repair shop near me. Second, I called the shop... Joe answer my question an told to come in. When I arrived he was so friendly from the very start( great sign for me) he told me they will do a diagnostics test on my truck. So, I got shuttle ride home (very nice guy) . I drop it off at 7:30am, it was ready at 4pm( 5star). When I arrived back I got the same service, friendly and personable. And that rare now days, so glad to see. Comment: Ive been a customer of Curts for approximately 4 years. Ive always received excellent service and more important, expertise. The facilities are very accommodating for those that chose to wait while their vehicle is being serviced. Ive actually been there working as if I was in my home office - which is one of the reasons why I continue to be a customer. One thing Ive learned over the course of owning a luxury vehicle versus leasing one, is that it requires a financial commitment. When repairs outside of maintenance are needed the cost of repair can be a tad surprising. I once needed my brake line replaced and the technician explained to me this type of service should not be needed this soon on your vehicle. Of course, I wasnt happy at all, with Mercedes or Curts. I thought, I was just here for brakes and now this - another $900. That surprise caused me to look else where for service. Nevertheless, when I comparison shopped there was no one else in the area that provided the service or accommodations I sometimes need. What I discovered with other service shops is that they meal piece services to appear as if you are saving. Service A might be $120 but topping off fluids cost additional. And lets not mention waiting room facilities. One component Curts has recently added are emailed coupons and reminders of service appointments - which is great for busy people. Keep up the great job and Ill see you all in a few weeks for my next service appointment.

Comment: One of the best service experiences. Friendly staff, smart techs. Customer satisfaction is their goal. Theyre most concerned about quality. Because of that, it wont be the cheapest you will find, but its worth it if you want the job done right. They even have a shuttle service that can pick you up, or drop you off. I had a clutch replaced, and also an aggravating noise which they used microphones to diagnose. I would recommend this place if you want to ensure the longevity of your car.

Comment: Just returned from having one of Curts Services techs take a look at my car, and do a quick test drive with me.First off, they make everything so easy. From the European Car magazine stack, to have a drink on us while you wait fridge, to the friendly and knowledgeable staff, just walking through the door was already a good feeling.Next to the service quality. They had a tech available within 3 minutes, and the tech was both friendly and very informative. Explained every pertinent point to me regarding what i was asking about, and was able to tentatively diagnose transmission/clutch issues by just listening. I say tentatively because no one can fully diagnose transmission issues without dropping the tranny. On top of that, the diagnosis was free of charge.I must have asked him 100 questions, and he had a great answer for all of them, and did not try to rush me away. Also, they are not strangers to modified cars, so if you have a tuned car you dont want the dealer to touch and need great service, this is where you need to go.They left me pleasantly surprised and will definitively take my car for service there.Thumbs up for some good folks!!!
