Comment: If I could give them them 50 stars, I would, and it still wouldnt be enough. After being raked over the coals taking our van to a dealership, I found Brian and his team, and I couldnt be happier. These guys spent hours diagnosing, testing and even experimenting, and finally found and fixed my issue (an issue that the dealership couldnt find in five weeks). They went above and beyond, and exceed my expectations, and at a very fair price. You really shouldnt even think about taking your vehicle anywhere else.

Comment: I drove from out of state to visit family, my car was making noises in the tire. I left my car with them when I got here, they said it would be a day wait bc it is a first come first serve. The next day I got a call from a tech Bryan that was going to work on my car. I received a call later saying my rear wheel bearing was bad and what the cost would be. When my car was done Brian called me telling me my car was finished and the tech Bryan stayed late to finish my car bc I was from out of state and needed my car. The courtesy and communication I received was 5 stars. The price was fair and Im very pleased with my service and grateful Bryan stayed to finish my car, that was above his job description and so I would recommend car tech to anyone needing repairs done by a reputable place.

Comment: These guys are professionals. I took my vehicle in for an oil change and to have them check the engine light. Before I knew it I was on the phone with these guys as they gave me recommendations about what was best for me and my money. They made it clear they werent interested in over charging me but charging me based on my informed decision. After they gave me a chance to consider the best approach they went to work. They found what they thought was the problem and gave me a preliminary quote the price was high but necessary. I agreed and they made the repairs. A day later they called problem fixed and the price was insanely lower than the original quote. They were able to fix things without the extra cost. Outstanding!!!Fast, fair and affordable.I would highly recommend Car-tech Complete! The mechanics and staff are very professional, very helpful & had great prices. This is now my shop. And will be the shop I bring all my childrens cars since now they are all of driving age.These men are knowledgeable, trustworthy, fair, and clear.

Comment: Ive went to this shop for a few years now and had good interactions every time.My car was recently on its way out and instead of upselling me on repairs that werent worth it, I was told outright its time to look for something new.This alone would have been enough, but Brian went above and beyond to help me while looking for a new car by answering some questions and squeezing me in for a pre-purchase inspection. Comment: Its difficult to find to trustworthy car shop so when I needed one, I went to google and found Car-Tech. I saw the high amount of positive reviews and boy were they right. Theres no appointments but a first come, first serve basis but believe me, youre going to get your car back fast. Before work gets done, theyll call and explain everything and include prices. I never felt forced or pressured. I decided to only fix a few things at the time and hold off on some. About a month later, I brought my car back to fix a problem they had mentioned/found and they even remembered the quote! Seriously, THE BEST shop. Again, super quick turnaround, even apologizing that I didnt get it back sooner. I cannot recommend them enough. (Even my dad who was visiting liked them, so theyre dad recommended)

Comment: On the recommendation of a friend, I took my car last week to this business CAR TECH for help. My Subaru Outback needed big help with its power steering system… When I got there, I was taken care of by Brian, who asked me to explain what was going on with my car, and what it doing etc… He had me leave it with him, he explained the diagnosis fee, and what he’d be doing to get me my estimate.He called very quickly like two days later, ( far faster any Subaru dealer has ever lemme tell you)… with an estimate, and he walked me thru exactly what needed to be done, and why. I needed a considerable amount of repair work done, and so I asked him(after he gave the estimate), if we could do it ANY cheaper, ( I mean who doesn’t like cheaper)???He didn’t try to sell me, he just explained to me exactly “why” that wasn’t possible, and what could occur if we did cut corners ( going cheaper)… INCLUDING, if we for example used, used parts... I’m glad I listened to him! I trusted the evaluation, And his judgement!! Couldn’t be happier!!I more than anything appreciated being explained things by him, no bullying, no scare tactics, But of genuine concern that we do this right, now, so I can enjoy my car longer!!Thanks again to Brian at Car Tech!And, to end all, my car drives like it’s new again!! Comment: Happen to stop by on way to see a client. The reason, my tire air pressure light came on. The shop was extremely busy and was closing their doors for the day. The General Manager along with one of his mechanic garage assistants took the time to go the extra mile by not just checking all the tires but checking the tire to see if there was anything in the leaked tire.I got ready to pay, but he said no need, this is just a regular procedure service for customers. Comment: I have several vehicles that have all given me problems within the past few months. Due to my vehicles getting older and being beyond dealership warranties, I had to find a place I could trust with repairs. I decided on Car-Tech based upon proximity and great google reviews and I must say that I am glad I gave these guys a try!What I’ve had done: The HVAC compressor failed in one vehicle and the pulley came apart, which resulted in extended damages to tensioner pulleys, plastic oil cooler lines, and a couple of belts. I assessed the damages myself before taking it in and found the damages to everything but the oil cooler lines. I flat-out missed those. I hit a pothole in another vehicle (thanks Michigan roads) resulting in the outer tie rod coming apart. It was later discovered that I also had movement in the ball joints and Pitman arm, along with wheel bearings loose. Following these repairs obviously calls for a wheel alignment. And one other visit involved a coolant manifold pipe that needed replacement due to a plastic hose barb breaking off.So needless to say, I’ve gotten to know the staff at Car-Tech quite well over the past few months. Brian is an awesome guy and I feel we’ve developed a friendship that will extend well beyond the place of business. Prices are reasonable and the service is great! They may not always be able to get your car in the same day, but every trip has been worth the wait. This is a busy, busy, busy shop… and in my opinion, busy is a good sign!I would highly recommend!

Comment: A coworker and I were 2+ Hours from home when we got a flat tire. We were able to change our tire to the spare. We drove to car-tech to ask them to tighten the lugnuts so we could make it home. They look the time to fill the spare, patch the hole and my tire and make sure we were safe to drive home. They could have easily tightened the lugnuts and sent us on our way. Instead, they went above and beyond for our safety. 10/10 recommend!!!

I found myself in desperate need of tire repair and used good old Google find something near me. I gave them a call and was able to limp my car into the drive. Everyone was really great I had 45 minutes to spare before they schedule their last appointment. I was seen right away. Thank goodness I found Brian! Not only did he squeeze me in on a busy day, but he talked me down from the panicked ledge I was on after the stress of traveling and not being able to get home. My wife had some work done and a couple days later had an issue she was concerned about, ended up being a very minor problem ( A little coolant got on a belt, belt slipped a little and threw the computer off making the check engine light turn on). They dropped everything they were doing to check it out and make sure our vehicle was safe knowing she had our 3 year old son in the car. It has been driving great ever since. I very highly recommended car tech for this reason. They care about their customers and thats a rare thing to find these days.

Comment: My husband and I were driving home from dinner and the dash lit up with warning lamps telling us to STOP, reduced braking. Well not wanting to take it to the dealer (09 Benz), he went looking for a good mechanic. Well we came across Car-Tech and what a blessing it was. We dropped the car off to have the diagnostics checked, and the guys checked the entire car out, drove it to try to recreate the issue and called my husband and told him since they couldnt find anything, he could come get it, no charge. We ended up getting an oil change since it was due, and in the meantime found our new mechanics for any future auto issues that need repair! Comment: I had bad noise coming from front tires and thought it was wheel bearing issue. Dropped the car off and they confirmed both wheel bearing sets had to be replaced. Gave me my option of parts with prices. Told me they did full inspection for any other issues and found no other problems to work on in a vehicle that has now crossed 100K. Very friendly, professional to work with and will go back whenever I need anything further. Glad I found a trustworthy repair shop to work with.

Comment: I can echo the previous reviews, as this is now my go-to place for car maintenance. I interacted with Bryan, who was extremely professional. Initially, they stated that the cost of repairing my frame would be ~ $2500. However, Bryan wanted to doublecheck to see if the repair would actually be worthwhile in the long run and ultimately suggested to scrap the car entirely. He even texted me pictures from his personal cell phone number to let me inspect the damage. While they could have taken the money for a temporary fix, I really appreciated their honesty and now they have gained a customer for life! Thanks again guys!

Very good group of guys!Two days ago I brought my car in because it was so loud that my wife said it sounded like a Harley! She also said if it cost more than $500 to get it fixed to just get rid of the car...it is a 2010 Fusion with over 180,000 miles.So I asked for an estimate before they did anything.Brian called me a few hours after I brought it in and said it was ready and no charge!It only needed a Manifold gasket and it took a few minutes.How nice to deal with honest people!

I had to wait over two hours in 90 degrees even though they told me to bring it right away. Nevertheless, within an hour I had a low tire again on the same tire. Took it to Car-Tech and the service repair guy took me in right away and repaired the tire again. I decided it was safer to just get new tires. I could have gone anywhere for same day tire service, but I ordered tires through Car-Tech and waited several days to have them put on my car. I was skeptical because while still under warranty I had taken the car to them at least six times within the first two years after purchase. Took it to Car-Tech for a second opinion and Brian and team diagnosed the leak. It wasn’t coming from where the dealership said. Confirming what me and my dad thought. Comment: Recently when we were in town from Chicago our Check Engine light went on. While we stopped to visit a cousin, I asked if her husband had an OBDII scanner because I know he does auto repair work on the side. He did and scanned the code, which came up with a variable valve timing code (VVT). Unfortunately, this was later in the afternoon on a Saturday so we had to move fast. My cousins husband suggested we head over to Cart-Tech to see if they could help. At first, they said they wouldnt be able to look at it as it was near closing, but knowing our situation they did. The mechanic looked over things, looked at the oil and said we probably would be OK to drive back to my moms place in Brighton, MI but to get it checked out promptly. Unfortunately, later the issue did turn out to be related to a damaged turbo but Car-Tech wouldnt have been able to know that without taking the car apart.Im giving Car-Tech a positive review because they really did try to help us; Brian the GM and the mechanic (sorry dont remember his name) were professional and did their best to provide us some type of answer.

Most recently due to a dirt bag who claims hes a mechanic but only loves to rip people off and use your vehicle for his own personal use. (My fault, I know) Car-Tech is fully aware of this slack jaw mechanic in the Belleville area and got right to work on my truck. I did not trust the work that was previously done by said slack jaw mechanic, so they went over everything he fixed since I was very concerned. Apparently Slack Jaw doesnt know how to screw in the lug nuts. Car-Tech to the rescue!!! I NEVER should have steered away from them in the first place. Its NOT worth trying to save a few hundred bucks, TRUST me!! They will go above and beyond your expectations. Super honest, outstanding work, incredible prices on parts and labor, and most importantly fantastic customer service. Brian and his crew care about you, and it certainly shows!!!

Comment: This place is great! They gave me a quote and stuck with it regardless of the fact that my vehicle was far more work than they had anticipated. I have a handicap transport van. Without it I am trapped. I cant leave the house, I cant go to appointments, Im just stuck. With only a days notice they accommodated me. Its an older POS with a lot of rust. Underbody, the chassis is burdened with additional mechanisms to work around (due to the ramp). I had taken it several other places and nobody even wanted to touch it. The mechanics not only took on the job, but they bent over backwards to make sure that I had wheels under me again as quickly as possible. Im a customer for life!

Comment: This place is amazing, not only are they friendly and informative but they are HONEST, and thats hard to find! Brought my car here for a second opinion about my warm ac. A different shop told me it was a broken condenser and a leak, and insisted the entire system needed replacing for $1900. The guys at Car Tech found the REAL problem to be cross threaded lines which caused the system to not hold a charge; no faulty parts, no leaks. Attached the lines, filled with freon and it was good to go, for a small fraction of what the other shop wanted! When I went to pick up, Brian explained everything to me in detail, and told me about a couple minor issues that may cause me trouble in the future, just to give me a heads up.Very satisfied with my experience here, definitely recommend!

Comment: What a group of guys. After dealing with a couple local shops here in Belleville and getting no satisfaction even being told by 1 shop that the car needed a new engine, so I did some checking out reviews online and 1 shop kept popping up Car-Tech. So I stopped up late Saturday afternoon and Bryan the mechanic took 25 minutes of his own time after the shop was closed to talk to me about my problem with my sons car, after that I felt comfortable to take the car to them. Dropped the car off Monday late afternoon, received a call from Bryan the mechanic Tuesday around noon saying he was pretty sure what the problem was and gave me his diagnosis, asked if he could keep the car a couple days to check into it further to make sure he was correct. I received a call from Brian the GM on Wednesday morning saying the car was done, it passed all the tests they threw at it and could do no more due to my son leaving the car practically on empty, Brian explained everything to me on what the problem was and guess what?? It did not need a new engine, a lot of air in the coolant system and a bad hose and she was running like a charm, and less than $150.00 to fix the problem.. You can guess where my 8 cars will be going from now on..Thats right to Car-Tech..A big thank you to Bryan and Brian.

Comment: Granny got her groove back because of the expert care at Car-Tech. She had become listless, ornery and a real pain in the neck. My Granny is a 1994 Grand Marquis that I inherited from my late father. The mechanics at Car-Tech expertly diagnosed several mechanical issues; we decided to address the most immediate concerns. They don’t try to throw a whole bunch of “well you need to fix” stuff at you either. Made me feel very comfortable and I will definitely be taking my cars there anytime I need auto work! It’s hard finding a place to work on your car that you can trust cause you always feel their going to rip you off especially if they realize you don’t know about cars but not here. Comment: Went in with 2007 F150 with the 5.4L 3V for possible spark plug problem (shuttering at 40-50mph overdrive on) and exhaust leak. Technician diagnosed the problem to be spark plugs. Theservice advisor and technician together purchased the redesigned spark plugs and replaced the original 2 piece plugs. Out of 8 original plugs, only 1 ended up breaking. The technician also found the exhaust leak and it most of the leaks are from a previous job from a previous shop that I will not go to again!I will recommend this place, especially if you want to keep money locally.

Comment: These guys are awesome! I brought my car to them on a Monday at 5pm, just hoping to have my car back by the end of the next day (Tuesday). They called me Tuesday morning at 11am to let me know that my car was ready to go! They are SO fast and my car is running better than ever. I planned on taking a cab home with my 7 year old daughter when we dropped the car off - and they gave me a ride home and even picked me up the next morning when my car was ready. They are very detailed and did a full check on my car and wrote everything down for me! They answered every question I had in full detail and even looked up every estimate for future repairs that I asked for - they are patient and kind! They also turned on the Disney movie Moana for my daughter to watch while we waited for my car to be looked at and get the estimate -only took about 20 minutes! I jacked the car up and removed the lug nuts but for the life of me, I couldnt get the wheel off even after spraying it with rust breaking compound and letting it set over night. So, resigning myself to the fact Id have to have someone else do this, I looked up repair shops near me and found Car-Tech in Belleville. They got my car in right away struggled, as did I, to remove the offending wheel but unlike me, they succeeded. I would say emphatically that they went above and beyond our expectations. We had some pretty significant oil leaks from the valve cover gaskets and the seals behind the timing cover/belt. Not only did they complete the repairs effectively and efficiently, they did so with a friendly and professional approach. I just came up here to get a headlight fixed on my 2011 Chevy Malibu and after being told it would be $150 to replace a headlight by another mechanic I wont name I came here and only had to pay a third of the price!!!!!!!!! Comment: I took my car in for overheating concern. I wanted to get a second opinion. I was told it had a head gasket leaking. I asked for a quote and before they even looked at my car the price was less then the other shop. So know that I told them to diagnose it and let me know if thats what I need. Later that day they called me and told me it was only a water pump & gasket. I was so excited I told them to fix it. They are now my only shop to work on my car, They could have told me it was the head gasket and charged me that price but they are Honest. Thanks to all the employees at Car-Tech !!!!

Comment: Ive just bought a used car and hearing some noises. Its roaring when I increase the acceleration. I thought It was something happen on the engine, tires or axles....Then I asked them to check my car in early morning. It took about 15 minutes for the tech guy do a driving test. He came back and told me that everything is GOOD! and explained to me the reasons why I heard that noises as well as tech guy was strongly saying that my car is FINE (or perfect I mean :D). Especially, they didnt charge me anything $0 although tech guy spent 15-20 mins to check it out. This is great place, professional and friendly. Thanks!!!

Comment: Car-Tech is such an amazing and extremely helpful auto repair shop. They help you with just about anything you need and get it done fast and right the first time every time for a good price. I have been with them for about 4 or 5 years now and anytime i needed help or advice on my car they were always there for me. I highly recommend checking them out for whatever your needs are!!

Comment: I have a hard time letting anyone work on my vehicles but I had an issue with my Honda Odyssey that required the latest electrical calibration equipment. Not only did the service manager and the technician put me on a three way call with them to resolve the issue, at no point did I feel I was being taken advantage of and my problem was rectified with a unbelievable fair price. This place has definitely gained my trust and I have found a new home for my vehicle needs.
