Comment: I had a loud sort of grinding coming from my passenger front tire, I took my vehicle in and they found there was something wedged in between some parts of the wheel, while they could have charged me for unnecessary things they were honest and only charged me for the inspection and removal of the material. I respect this business and will use them in the future for their professionalism and honesty.

Honestly, this is the only place I will ever take my vehicles. They are honest and will give you the straight shot without overcharging and gouging you. Comment: I had a engine replaced in my wifes 2018 Ford Escape back in July 2023. The work was done in a reasonable amount of time since this job is large and was done around the July 4th weekend. The vehicle runs great but when my wife came home she heard a hissing sound coming out of the fuel door compartment. I relieved the pressure and the check engine light came on and has been on ever since. I contacted Car Aid Shelby thinking they would cover this under the 12 month or 12 Mile parts and labor warranty they told me we had on this replacement engine. Even though the EVAP part is not under warranty the service shop covered the repair and I am grateful for this.

I received a text with a link to the diagnosis where I could select the items I wanted (the alternator) and pass on ones I didnt want (coolant flush, etc).When the work was done, I got another text.The work was done earlier than they estimated too.Very helpful, polite and professional. I hope I dont need to use any auto repair place again any time soon but if I do, Im going back there.

Comment: I called around to have my starter replaced on a 2017 Dodge Durango. Everybody else was $850+. Shelby Auto Repair was $680. They got it in at 11 am on a Saturday and had it done before 3 pm. Same day I called them. They were so nice, not one cuss word from their mouths, which so impressed me and they did a great job. I recommend them to everybody.

They took my jeep the same day and fix my fuel pump and had at back by the end of the day. I am greatly satisfied and extremely happy. I drove on a full tank 2 days before the needle started to move, before i would waste a half tank in 2 days. Completely waived my $90 diagnosis fee because I needed a whole new engine pretty much and I already had wasted thousands of dollars on it. Comment: I was so impressed with my overall experience that I was compelled to write a review.I was pumping gas & the car went dead. I didn’t have jumper cables & neither did the gas station(assuming the battery needed a jump)I called roadside assistance & the estimated wait time was 3 hours…I continued to brainstorm more possible solutions while waiting for roadside assistance since I had to sit there for 3 hours anyways …My next attempt was to go over to the auto shop across the street & see if they have jumper cables or recommendations or anything possible to help.I honestly didn’t have high expectations, I assumed I would be brushed off … or ignored … & I had my guard up as I always do when dealing with this industry because I personally never have had a positive experience with any type of service for vehicles… until this.The owner, Isaac, literally took a look at the car at the gas station… determined the issue … & got straight to the point like this is what it is, this is what I can do & what you want to do is up to you. He was upfront, straightforward & just kept it real, no BS…but in a way that shows you that he truly has your best interest in mind.As soon as I arrived in the parking lot of the shop, I was greeted by the manager, Josh Kelly, ready to log the car into the system, estimate the time & cost & let me know what to expect, when to expect it & what the next step is.Josh was extremely personable, professional & his energy was amazing. He was very efficient, confident, comforting & genuinely considerate. After I left, he provided transparency by keeping me updated on the time line & returned my calls & messages immediately.Shelby Auto Repair has not only changed my opinion about the industry but also made me a loyal life long customer. Ive used Shelby Auto Repair twice now and both times I have been very satisfied with the level of service, attentiveness and willingness to explain everything I needed or wanted to understand about my repair and related issues. Isaac is very concerned about satisfying his customers.My most recent repair was made a bit trying because a couple of technicians were out with the flu and things were backing up. Isaac went to extra lengths to get my repair done in what I thought was a remarkably expeditious manner. Although there was initially an understandable delay, he made extra effort to make the delay as short as possible and got my job done in sufficient time to keep me on my expected schedule. When I picked up my vehicle it seemed as if the ride suspension pump he had replaced wasnt performing as I expected. Isaac immediately recalibrated the pump and I was on my way. I explored the matter on my own afterward and discovered that it was actually performing in an acceptable manner. Isaac was so concerned about my satisfaction that he called me twice afterward to see if I was satisfied.My wife, the other Rosbury reviewer, is not nearly as patient as I am. As I said we did experience a delay and then it seemed that things werent right when we arrived to pick up the vehicle. This prompted her complaint that the car wasnt ready, but as I also said, that matter was addressed and resolved promptly.I heartily recommend that you try Shelby Auto Repair for your vehicles service and repair needs.

Comment: I would like to start off by saying this place exceeded my expectation. I stumbled upon this repair shop when I got a flat about 1/4 mile down the road from this location. Against my better judgment I drove the car there and was met by Issac in the parking lot. He asked what the matter was and told him I had a flat. It seemed to me that he wouldn’t get me in due to all the cars in the parking lot, however my inclination was off. He repaired my flat expeditiously. The knowledge and professionalism they exuded made me want to come back and have my car looked at further. I returned the following week and asked him to inspect my car since I was starting grad school and didn’t want issues later on. The service I received was not only reasonable but the job didn’t take long and was finished the same day. After doing my front and rear brakes, tuneup, oil change and air filter my car feels like brand new. This place will be my mechanic shop of choice for any other vehicle that needs servicing.

Comment: Very polite service. When I dropped off my car for repairs, the man at the front desk even asked if I needed a ride home (Ive never heard that one). They identified the cause of a mysterious squeal coming from one of the tires- which turned out to be a rather serious safety concern- and they were able to fix it and get me back driving the same day they identified it. The only reason I give 4 stars is because when I initially turned it in at opening, they promised to look at it within 1.5 hours, but it wasnt for about 7 hours that they looked at it, because something came up at the shop that backed them up. Since it was a Friday and they were closed for a long weekend, I was stuck without a car until Monday. (This was partly my fault, but I wish the repair hadnt been postponed.)

Comment: These guys are awesome. They always do top-notch work, every time. Heres the story:I had an alternator replaced by another mechanic shop, in my 1999 Jeep Cherokee. I took it to Shelby Car-Aid for a completely unrelated issue, shortly after, and they were courteous enough to inform me that the other mechanic shop had installed the wrong alternator for my style of vehicle.This led to me to return to the other mechanic shop, where they admitted their mistake, installed the correct alternator, and reimbursed me for a serpentine belt Id purchased due to their error.If the guys are Shelby Car-Aid didnt inform me of the incorrect alternator installation, my Jeep would likely be totaled by now (or at the very least, I would be out much more money due to sheer incompetence). But thanks to Shelby Car-Aids thorough inspections and consideration for their customers, the old 99 Cherokee will still see a few more years.At other times, theyve done a tune-up for me, and they even fixed my back latch for me during an appointment that was unrelated to the latch being stuck. If you want to be taken care of properly when youre vehicle is having issues, take it to these guys. Id never dream of going to another mechanic after experiencing the quality of service they offer.
