Comment: As an ex- mechanic I normally do all my own automotive work. There is not a single part on a standard 4x4 combustion engine vehicle (think… Jeep Wrangler type vehicles) that I have not laid my hands on in some form or fashion. When I was a mechanic and worked on other’s vehicles, I would jokingly give them my “Keller Guarentee” because my work doesn’t fail (and I’m not knocking on wood or crossing my fingers). I’ve always taken extreme pride in my work, which is why I always guaranteed my work.Anyway… on to my point.When there’s any reason I can’t do the work myself (e.g. I don’t have the specific tool, it’s freezing outside and I don’t have a garage, I don’t have the extra time, etc.), I always, and ONLY, take my vehicles to Best Automotive Repair.

Comment: Heading home from out of town. Still had over an hour to go and a warning light came on the instrument panel which needed to be addressed right away. Located Best Automotive Repair via Google. Car was looked at right away, and it was determined the alternator needed replacing. They squeezed us in to get it repaired. They also pointed out two additional issues that needed to be repaired, but could wait until we got home. About an hour and a half wait. Id like to thank them so much for their prompt and friendly service.

Comment: I just moved here from Missouri n I forgot about dip on 10th by duckpond hit it n went airborne l cleared all 4 came down hard n engine dies started right back up but for next 4 blocks died 4 times from hitting a bump l couldnt find loose or burnt wire Doug had pickup 4 days found problem on 3rd but wanted truck 100% l got pickup back absolutely no charge n its running great THANKS DOUG!!

Comment: I went up to this business for a problem I was having with my brakes me being the inexperienced I thought it was the brake caliper with their help they were able to identify the real problem it was the brake line hoses were clogged while at the same time identifying other problems that were present that should be fix. Comment: Have been there a few times and left happy after each visit. No one likes to get their vehicle repaired but Lowell did a great job and offered exceptional value. The problem was not as I described it to them, but the mechanic diagnosed my real issue and got it resolved right away. Should the need arise for another repair I will go back.

Comment: I have been looking for a solid, reputable mechanic in Saginaw. I took my vehicle in to be serviced and to have the front/rear brake pads, and hub assembly put on my car. They quoted me a very reasonable price for labor (below the cost of where I was originally going to go.) and had my car in and out within 2 hours. I would recommend their services to others in the area.

Comment: My truck broke down on I-75 on my way home from the U.P. over two hours from home. After calling three Ford dealers and four other shops and being told it would take days or weeks just to look at it. The guys at best understood my dilemma and told me they would try to at the least diagnose the problem to let me know if I need to find a ride home or wait for it to get fixed. They set up towing and I was lucky they where able to fix it while I waited. I checked some shops around where I live for prices on the same repair they were all about the same.I hope I never brake down I Saginaw again but if i do my first call will be to Best.

Comment: Took my truck to get headers put on and they gave me the lowest rate in town. (I called 7-8 different shops) they got it done in a reasonable time. I even paid less than the original quote because it didnt take as long as they thought it would. Very honest mechanics and Ill definitely be going back!

Comment: I have been to other shops for estimate for my shocks & struts. I came to Best Auto Repair in Saginaw for the first time today. I thought I was in for another HIGH estimate. Lowell took my Uplander on a road test and came back very honest and forward with me. He told me I didnt need shocks or struts because new ones will not necessarily give me a smoother ride. I was amazed by Lowells honesty. All the other shops would put the shocks on whether I need them or not. Thanks Lowell, and you are my new repair facility. I reward honesty.
