Comment: This will be my go to place for any Mercedes needs. Mike did an amazing job diagnosing the issue I had with turbo charger. I did not want to go to dealer as they are gonna replace the entire turbocharger. New part was ordered immediately and the problem was fixed pretty quickly and saved $5000 if I had to go to dealer or some other service. We came all the way from La to New York, My car broke down, he has all his time scheduled until two weeks later(he has around 20 Benz in his parking lot awaiting to be fixed🤣) but he still helped to check the problems, but ends up he will need to order a part which will take a longer time than we could stay here, so gave really really helpful suggestions, and didn’t even ask us for money!!! Appreciated for his help!!! If you want your Benz to be fixed, this definitely gonna be your first choice to be check out! 5 star recommendation!

This place was very honest and replaced the fuse and told me it was a fuse instead of ripping me off and saying it was something else. Comment: I had a great experience here, they are willing to work with your schedule depending on your situation. It is better to drop off, because they are very busy and Mercedes maintenance and repairs take a very long time no matter who preforms it. So I just run down the street and have some breakfast/ lunch because theres tons of good places to grab some food.Anyhow, benztek has done quite a bit of service on my car. I have a newer e550, they have done, an oil change, transmission flush, trans mount repair, coolant flush, rear differential fluid change, and a few other things. The price beats any shop around, and they actually identified some problems with my car that other shops DID NOT address. They located a coolant leak, and determined the previous shop who did my transmission flush used the wrong fluid... Thank you again so much everybody, I will now enjoy my car for the rest of summer! Be easy on these guys, theyre very busy from what I see and they spend quality time with your vehicle.

For example, Mike replaced a component of my wheel hub so that the speed sensor wouldnt continually throw the engine light on. At the dealership, they would have not only replaced the entire wheel hub, they would of ended up replacing the spindle as well costing me thousands of $$$. Mike and Benztek are real professionals. Comment: I bought a gently used CL63 AMG and it needed front brakes. So I ordered front Rotors and Pads online, and with all good intentions thought I would do the work on my own. Due to limited time available I decided to google local shops that specialize in Mercedes work, that is how I ended up calling Benztek based on their reviews. Michael quoted me an extremely fair price for labor because I had the parts necessary for the job.On a Tuesday evening I dropped by the shop with the purchased parts, Michael gave me a quick education why I would NOT like the Brake Pads in full detail. He then quoted me a price on Parts and Labor on OEM Rotors and Pads including Labor which was less than the materials I purchased online. Fortunately I knew at the time the online purchased parts could be returned for a refund.Benztek promised my car would be ready to be picked up the next evening. The guys stayed late just to deliver on their promise and the job was completed exceeding my expectations.Thank you Benztek!!!!!

Comment: I was told of Mikes honesty at my church from someone I trusted. I came to Benztech for a periodic incorrectly reading fuel gauge. Mike knew what the issue was, ordered the part. While at his shop I inquired about ECU flash&(K&N filters). I had the upgrades completed at least 100 hp gain on my 2013 Mercedes S550(37000 Miles). The car hits hard like a sledge hammer. I took on I-94 yesterday WOW! I am so very happy with the results of Benz Techs professionalism/ quality workmanship. Comment: I came to Michael and his shop because I was totally frustrated dealing with Mercedes dealerships, solo technicians working out of their homes and everyone in between.I had TWO pages of issues (mostly complicated electrical malfunctions) that I needed handled. Michaels response after reading my items? Not a problem Mike.But did he back up his words? ABSOLUTELY! This place is incredible! Everything, I mean everything is fixed. I tried to find a fault and couldnt.Oh, wait! They didnt repair my leaky windshield washer reservoir...but then I quickly realized it wasnt on my list of items. My bad!4 hours before I picked my car up I called and asked if they could fix a slow leak in one of my tires. Not a problem Mike.Is this guy for real? My answer is... YEP!Dont go anywhere else. Comment: It was my first time getting my car serviced at an independent workshop. I drove 1.5 hours one way to get my car serviced at Benz Tek because of the reviews that I saw on Google. I got an oil change done, brake pads, brake fluid flush, and spark plugs changed at a very reasonable price. The products that mike use are genuine Mercedes Benz products. Its better to get your car serviced by Benz Tek than the dealership as all the work done on the car is showed and there is complete transparency. You will end up paying around 30-40% less than the estimate given at the Mercedes dealership. Finally, I could say Benz tek is definitely a place to get your expensive European cars serviced.

Comment: Benztek was recommended to me by a person I met at Cars and Coffee. I drive a 13 ML63 and a 06 R350. Im new to the area.I called Mike and set up an appointment. It was easy. I had a meeting go over time and was late to the appointment, Mike was good about it. I liked that he was open to talk about the car in general and not just that specific service. Whoever is into cars will appreciate that as do I. I saw cars there ranging from W211 to G class, some AMGs as well.I booked a transmission fluid+filter service and diff service. Mike called at later time and asked if we should replace the fluid in the transaxle as well. Im glad he did that. When I picked the car up we talked a bit more and he showed me the condition of the fluids, that insight was good and reassuring. The fluids and filters used were OEM, which is what you want to use with MB. For other cars it doesnt matter that much.Mike, thank you for providing this type of service. I hope this will be consistent. Well do more business in the future.

Comment: I went to see Mike at Benz Tek a while back and he told me if I didn’t get my pulley fixed it could snap my belt. I went out of town for a while, so my brother had my car. The day I get back as soon as I get on the road the belt most definitely snaps. It was in the middle of night and the shop closes at 6. Not only was I able to get it towed to the shop after hours, but he made time to fit me in the next day and finished everything the same day. I’ve heard countless stories of the kind of service Benz Tek gives out, so when it was finally time for me to get some work done on my foreign , going to benz tek was an instant reaction. Mike took a look at my car, SHOWED me EXACTLY what was wrong, told me how much they cost, and after I gave him the OK he got to work right away. When I went back to get my car, mike showed me the new parts, the old ones, and started my car right in front of me showing me how everything was working like new. Comment: Ive been dealing with Mike for 2 years now. It all first started when my brother went to him with a Mercedes sprinter van, He had a serious issue with it and no Mechanic was able to start it. After 2 month of trying different Mechanics and everyone was guessing and charging HOURLY we finally got Mikes number at Benz-Tek from a friend and we said we will give it a try. we towed the van to him and left it there, he called my brother few hours later and told him that he was able to start it. since then my whole family takes their cars to him. I have a G550 Mercedes truck and I only let Mike work on it, even for the most simple stuff. I am so picky and I know whos a good Mechanic and whos not. Mike is knowledgeable and he has the same equipment that the dealer has. The best part is that his prices are very reasonable in compare to what the dealer might charge. I advise everyone to give him a try. I can say: youre in Good hands. I give him 5 stars all the way.

Comment: I visited Benztek today after many hours of research and interviewing independent Mercedes Benz repair shops via phone, and I couldnt believe my great fortune.Mike, the owner has a vast Mercedes background and has all of the tools to get your car tuned correctly. I needed a spare key fob for my wife and Mike was able to program a new key fob for me at a great price..Furthermore, the most impressive thing thus far was that Benztek performs A service for Mercedes just like the dealership. They evacuate the oil and do not use the drain plug which can damage the oil pan. Other shops do not use this technique.Im taking my Mercedes to Benztek!!! Dealership skill level, with great customer service, at a very fair price.

Car is from Florida and after one week on Michigan roads my CEL started with suspension issue. went to several shops and had outrageous quotes for several thousands dollars. Comment: My Sprinter Van Winnebago, decided to go into limp mode, wont go over 25mph. The display messageslights for ABS, ESP and ASR were on. Operator manual said might be a voltage problem. I called at least six auto repair shops and the nearest dealer. The nearest dealer was over 30 miles away and I cant go down major hiways at 25 mph. The other places I called would not even look at Sprinter vans. Finally called Benztek, they said they would check it. Novi dealer had said he couldnt schedule me for at least two weeks out. Being 200 miles from home, I need it fixed now. Drove the 18 miles to Benztek on roads with speed limits less than 45 mph. On arrival, the two technicians got right on it, despite the fact that they had a full schedule for the next few days and its Ramadan. They hooked up their diagnostic system and found the right RPM sensor was bad. The only place that had that sensor today was the Novi dealer about 20 miles away. They dropped me at a delicious Lebanse restaurant for lunch and went to get the part. By the time I finished lunch, they were back and nearly finished installing. On the test drive limp mode was gone and no message lights. But shortly into the test the lights returned, this time it was the Left RPM sensor. They suspected both sensors might be bad, but didnt get both because dealership wont take back electrical parts. So we are at least good for today; we were planning on fishing and camping nearby anyway. Tomorrow they will pick the other sensor and I can stop again to get it installed and drive the 200 miles back home tomorrow night at 70 mph instead of 25 mph. These guys literally go the extra mile to help. If I didnt live 200 miles away, Id use them for my regular service and repairs.Update after 2nd sensor: We did camp and go fishing. then next day returned to Benztek around noon to get the left sensor installed. We left the vehicle and walked to a nearby restaurant for lunch. By the time we returned from lunch, it was ready for a test drive. Test drive went well; 70 mph with no issues. After that we drove 200 miles back home to Holland, Mi with no issues. The total cost was a little less than the dealer estimate and Im also happy that they got it fixed quickly.

Comment: Very happy that I was referred to this shop. Was purchasing a high performance car sight unseen and wanted the car to get a pre-purchase inspection done. Mike was very detail oriented, thorough and professional. He was very knowledgeable and even sent me pictures of the underbody. They were very flexible for me with scheduling and accommodated a few reschedules without a problem. I could tell that he cared about the service he was providing so I was 100% sure the car was in fantastic mechanical shape after his inspection. More than the car is worth and I was about ready to write the car off, but I found Benztek.I worked with Mike on a plan to get the beast back into working order. Comment: First things first. For people who are reading this are definitely trying to find a good mechanic for Mercedes Benz. For some people the guys at Benztek might be mechanics. For some technicians, but for me they are MAGICIANS.Now for details:Its a long story but Ill try to squeeze in as much as possible. I own a 2006 Mercedes E350 4matic and I am from Ohio. I drove to Michigan to visit my family 3 weeks ago. The main problem was the Check Engine light. I started noticing a weird rattling noise. I thought it was brakes. But NO, it was something else and big.I search for the closest Mercedes specialist and BENZTEK comes up.I drove to their workshop, met Billy and Mike and told them that I am from Ohio and I need some help. They immediately checked my car like its a walk in appointment. Mike told me that it was a known issue cuz Mercedes had this sprocket on the balance shaft inside with weak material that wears off with time.Solution was either rebuilding or replacing the engine. These guys took really good care of me and my car. Provided me with best knowledge and reading materials to make sure whatever they are suggesting is right and makes sense. They sourced the best engine out of a 2009 E350 with serial number that was past all the issues and design flaws that were present in earlier models. I got my car back within a week.(For reference any other workshop I approached was charging almost the double amount plus a appointment where I had to leave my car a week later and I would get it back after 2 weeks at least. Thatd be 4 weeks in total)Mike is a beast least to say. He is someone who works on cars as if they were his own. He checked each and everything and did what was required. My benz now drives like a dream. He doesnt even compromise on the Oil that needs to be used.Trust me guys you wont be disappointed. Letting Benztek take care of ur car would be the best thing you have ever done. It wont break the bank too. Go see MAGIC MIKE ;-)

I could not see the findings of the actual report. I wanted another opinion and brung here to Benztek. Mike inspected the car and showed me everything going on. He found things for me to address at a later point that the Dealer did not catch. Very satisfied with the work will take all my cars here.
