His pricing is fair, his service is transparent, and if he doesnt specialize in a repair you need, he knows an honest guy who does. One time he diagnosed that we needed air conditioner condenser replacement in one of our trucks, and he booked the appointment and delivered our truck to the air conditioner guy, who did a fantastic job at a great price. Bill is keeping all of our older vehicles reliable and on the road longer, which is saving us a ton over time in car payments and insurance. At this point I’ve been going to him for years (and for three different vehicles!).Things like regular maintenance (oil change, tire rotation, etc) as well as having things looked over to get a second opinion (e.g. is it really going to be $200 to get the muffler tightened up, or am I being bamboozled by the dealership) have been my common interactions.The price has been good, the service solid, and the communication honest and straight forward. He was always honest and more than fair. That was in the 1990s. Bills the first mechanic since Jerry that I trust so much so that Id send my kids there. Hes honest, fair, and very detailed. Because I have only been treated impeccably by the staff & the owner Bill since I began taking my vehicles to Auto Surgeon. It all began one spring morning ..... kidding. For real though, I was involved in an accident which then left me a little disabled over 20 years ago & I needed my car (different car) fixed. So I took it to Auto Surgeon & from that moment on(20+ years ago), I have been treated with only respect, dignity, compassion, honesty, & integrity. This was the only vehicle I had & no way of getting home as it was going to take most of the day to fix. So I figured I would wait it out. The owner Bill noticed because hes a very detailed oriented person, & he had one of his staff members take me home. I was extremely impressed with his level of compassion that since I have never used another repair shop. Anyone who complains about Auto Surgeon must have had a bad day or got the name of the business wrong that made them upset because I have seen nothing but impeccable leadership & service work being done at Auto Surgeon. I would highly recommend ANYONE with car issues to contact them first, you wont regret it. Just be mindful that although they would love to fix everyones car that same day, that same minute, they can get busy which is a testament to their level of workmanship & Customer service, & they will get to your vehicle in a timely manner. Their work is impeccable & impressive. Treat others as youd like to be treated, with compassion, dignity & respect & youll receive the same, Bill is a good person. As a young and single female with zero expertise on cars- I was nervous on who to call or getting overpriced and taken advantage of my naivety. I called here based on reviews and it was the best decision! The owner was so kind on the phone and gave me tips on troubleshooting. He didn’t immediately dismiss me or make me try to bring it in so he could charge me, he genuinely had some ideas to help over the phone. When it did come to needing to bring it in, he helped with identifying a tow service, gave me step by step instructions, and peace of mind. My car was fixed in only a few short days and the price (which I ran by my friends and family) was MORE than fair. In fact, it was far less than they expected it would have been. If you are new to the area and wondering where to go- this place is it.

He found the problem and told me that he could take my money to fix it but my car was old and so he didn’t feel right about doing the job since it was more than what the car was worth. I really appreciated it since he didn’t just fill it with coolant and say everything is fine and charge me $200 for the pleasure.

I initially went to him for a second opinion on a little Saturn Hatchback that I loved. The first mechanic told me it would require a couple thousand dollars in repairs. Bill agreed with this assessment (at a lower cost) but recommended that I trade it in and get something different that would be more reliable. It took a little convincing to get me to understand this was the right choice and he could have easily taken my business and my money and done the repairs. Ever since Ive trusted Bill to tell me the truth about my vehicles and to charge me a fair price. Hes gone out of his way in talking through things with/educating me has always done great work. Hes a great business owner and his team is thoughtful and thorough!

I have done my research and compared all of the quotes that they have given me with the ones for this area for several different repairs over the years just to double check that I was not being overcharged. 100% of the quotes have been at the low end of the spectrum. They do a great job and get things done fast. Just remember to make an appointment, as they seem to only do things by appointment (including oil changes).

They truly seem more interested in helping the customer out than making money. I am honestly not sure how they can afford to stay in business, besides the simple fact that when they get a customer they get that customer for life. On top of this, their knowledge about cars is off the charts, and when they cant find a problem, or dont know what a problem is, they dont give up until they find it.I am a car guy, and I couldn’t find out the problem with my car, so I took it to the Honda Dealer with hopes that they could solve the problem. When they charged me a arm and a leg and still didn’t fix the issue I didn’t know where to turn. As someone that is unfamiliar with auto parts, that was a big deal to me. I also always felt as though I was receiving excellent customer service. Comment: My Mazda 3 had some noise and I went to two dealers trying to solve the problem, none of them solve that problem and I paid over $1,000. Comment: I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS. But I wanted to wait a few months to write a review, just so I didnt jinx myself or my car. But Ive never had such a good experience with my car here. I was calling around to different shops for a certain part, and AutoSurgeon had the best price. Not only were they $200-300 cheaper, but they got me in the same day, and even gave me a ride back to work. It was in and out within just a few hours and after 3 years of issues with my car not starting randomly, violently shaking, going into reduced-power mode they were certain it was my throttle body. They switched it out, programmed it and it has been running like a brand new car for over 2 months now.I will be taking my car here with any further issues I have, thanks to Bill and his staff. They were helpful in every way, even emailed me an estimate which I confirmed via email before any repairs were made.They made this simple, smooth, and painless for me. Thanks guys!

Comment: Their Website is pretty accurate: Dont expect a plush lounge-like atmosphere with free espresso and wifi, thats not what this shop is about. They do, however, do an amazing job at repairing your vehicle at exceptionally reasonable pricing with terrific service.Thus far I have taken two different vehicles here for two separate issues; both of which they have both repaired and done so in a very efficient manner. Their prices are extremely fair and their service is amazing. I brought the second car back to them because of the service I received the first time. I will continue to bring vehicles to them because of the service the second time around. I cannot recommend them enough, and will ensure my friends and family continue to come here.

Comment: I highly recommend that everyone takes their car to be serviced at auto surgeon. The shop was first recommended by a friend who swore by their honestly, quality of service, and customer service. Needless to say, she was right. Taking your car in to be fixed can be intimidating, especially if you dont know anything about cars (which is me!). Its hard to know if you are getting a good price and if they are being honest with you. Bill and his staff do an excellent job being honest about your vehicles issues, and would never push you to get something done that wasnt necessary. The first time I brought my car to auto surgeon after my vehicle had been diagnosed, Bill showed me a video of exactly what was happening inside my car so I would know what to look out for in the future. Thats great customer service! Bill has done a great job of explaining the issues my car has had, and I feel I have a better understanding if something like that were to ever happen again. I have brought my car to Auto Surgeon several times and always recommend them to friends. Thanks Bill!

Comment: Once I discovered Bill Belonge and his Auto Surgeon team, I have not taken my vehicle to anyone else. Bill is forthright and honest - he will not encourage you to do something to your vehicle you dont need. With my older vehicle, he has given me very practical advice, while keeping it in great shape.Once I took my car there for something they do not typically do. Bill sent my car to a colleague of theirs that performs that service, and then retrieved it. I only paid for the service that the other mechanics did - no charge at all from Bill for his work in getting my car the work it needed.Another example - my car is 11 years old, but just hit 103,000 miles. When Auto Surgeon replaced the timing belt & water pump for me, they discovered damaged radiator and air conditioning condenser. The car had likely been in minor front end collision before I bought it 8 years ago. They replaced everything, but the belt made noise. Eventually, they had to replace the belt tensioner, too. NO charge! That would not have been part of the normal repair, and there was no reason to replace it until the new equipment revealed the problem. Bill did not charge for the part or the labor! You CANNOT BEAT that kind of service! They have my loyalty because theyve treated me with complete respect. Thanks, Bill and team!
