Comment: Best experience! I went in 30 minutes before closing to fix my car that was ruined due to the snow storm. There was a piece under my car that was torn and scraping the ground as I drove. Andrew and his team were really friendly and demonstrated thorough and transparent communication which I really appreciated. I also discovered they do oil changes so I’m happy to say I found my new go-to place! I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of reliable automotive care. Comment: My daughter’s car was damaged due to the snow storm and we were looking at places that were still open and willing to take us as soon as possible. I forgot that my son got his car fixed here a while back so I decided to call and Andrew told me to come in as soon as possible. I left work early and we were able to make it there right before close. Andrew showed us the damage under the car before proceeding with anything and the wait was short and then we were on our way! Dealership told me I blew a head gasket, sent the car to these guys and they saved me at least 4,000$ by finding a radiator pipe leak. As a bonus they picked the car up from Ann Arbor as well as picked me up from Ann Arbor and drove me to the car at their shop. Amazing people with great energy and a passion to help people. Mainly talking to Andrew eases the communication, he’s very detailed, had great suggestions, and a great guy to talk to.

Comment: The shop is great. Ive been coming to this shop for almost two years now. The environment is one thing that I focus on when Im dealing with a service. The service manager Andrew always has a positive attitude and outlook on things. I have meet and spoken to some of the technicians and theyre all very professional and respectful. They greet everybody when they come in the shop. I met the owner and talked to him briefly also! Andrew is very patient and very knowledgeable about all cars and is willing to share the knowledge at anytime with any of the customers as many times as they need it. There has not been one complaint in my book because Andrew always goes above and beyond ! There is financing at this shop so thats even better for my situation! Thank you !!

Comment: Ive got an 06 Mitsubishi, and I took the car to them for an oil change. They found out that it needs a wheel bearing during their safety inspection, they event sent me pictures and videos, which ive never seen at any other shop before. Super happy they found it, because I had a road trip I was going on, and I didnt want it to break. Its an older car so they did warn me ahead of time that when doing the repair that there is a possibility of rusty parts being stuck together and that it could take some extra time, which I totally understand. They did a really awesome job replacing the wheel bearing worked with me on price, and got me all set, safe, and taken care before my trip.

Comment: I was having issues with my car, it was wearing through tires pretty fast, I called Auto Medics to see how much an alignment was and when I could get it done? They were around the same prices as other shops in the area. On top of good pricing, Im a really busy person with work and School, they even offered to pick up my car and drop it off for me so I didnt have to miss any work. Got my alignment taken care of, and the car even drives better then it did before. Really happy with their service!

Comment: My car had a check engine light for a misfire. I had a friend change the spark plugs and coils, and that still didnt fix the problem. I was really worried that this would mean that I needed an engine. I called around to a couple of different places and eventually came across Auto Medics. When I called them, they asked me to bring the car in to take a look, and Im really glad I did. They ended up figuring out what the actual problem was, and its been running amazing ever since. They saved me tons of money, and time because I know an engine can take a while to install. Comment: Ive been going here for roughly about 1 1/2 years getting repairs done on my 2011 Ford Escape. This shop has been excellent and has exceeded my expectations 100% prices are affordable but the work quality is high end. Andrew is spot on taking care of any issue you may have. He has gotten numerous things approved by my warranty and the car fixed in a timely manner. Overall i would give a whole hearted recommendation to this repair facility they are truly honest when it comes to fixing your car and don’t scam you like some other sketchy repair shops that will take your money and do the work but you may run in to problems. Never any problems after repairs, car works like brand new. Id give this place more than 5 stars for their above and beyond service.

I found this place from a friend who lived in the area and it was the best decision I could have made. Comment: You should really bring your vehicle here!!I don’t always write a review, but when I do the service has to be either EXCEPTIONAL or down right awful. Auto Medics of Shelby has been exceptional. They have provided help with my car and ALL the issues seen and unforeseen with repairs. There was time and consideration given how long it took to fix myself and my budget for fixing my vehicle. The owner and staff are very understanding and keep you up to date on what is happening with your car. You can also call to check up anytime or multiple times a day and no one gets annoyed 😅. Sorry Andrew!When I came to the shop it was only to get an estimate on what I was already given by another shop. They were way over priced. My problems with my car were discovered quickly and it had been quite dangerous to drive. I got a ride home and eventually recieved a loaner. They don’t have many loaners but they are clean and very useful. One the day of pick up I still had one thing left to fix, but I couldn’t that day. Given the fact that I have kids and it’s winter, Al the owner insisted it get fixed that day and he worked with me.There’s a very homey feel, in that they care about how you feel and make sure you understand everything and they let you see the repairs they’ve done, you can talk to your mechanic and I even went with the owner to test drive my vehicle so I could tell him what I noticed was wrong with my car. I’ve never been able to talk to the mechanic or go on any test drive. So I very much appreciated it here.I’ve been treated so disgustingly awful at other shops in this area in downtown Rochester, where it was clear I was being taken advantage of and told lies and I got ripped off. Audi Medics has been a complete opposite experience and I will go there any time I have a problem with my vehicle!!Thanks again!! My car is don’t great!

I have a 2021 Mustang GT that I love dearly and this is the only shop I trust to do any work on it I don’t trust myself to do. They’ve done my lowering springs, axle back exhaust and even connected with one of the best tuners in the area. They also are the only shop to dial in my alignments the way I need with my car being lowered. They are a bit pricy but for a modded vehicle this is a one-stop shop.

Comment: After taking my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4 times to the dealership it was purchased from for a wheel alignment because it was obviously needed.. A co worker recommended that I give Auto Medics Of Shelby a call after seeing that the dealership just obviously couldnt get it right even with all 4 chances. I was very frustrated due to the fact that I work 14 hour days most of the time and just dont have the time to constantly take my vehicle in for the same issue just to get it back with the same issue going on. Auto Medics came and picked my vehicle up right away from my job and brought it back the same day before I got off work. I was extremely impressed and satisfied with their work and have not had any issues since. I was also extremely impressed with their honesty.. long story short the dealership tried to tell me that my vehicle needed a big component replaced that came out to a total of 6k. After having Auto Medics look into it.. turns out there is absolutely nothing at all wrong with my vehicle. Been driving it for almost a year now since having it looked at and still no issues. Very thankful for Auto Medics and their phenomenal honesty and service because they saved me from spending 6k for something I dont even need. I will defiantly be bringing my vehicle to them for all my services.

Comment: I took my 2002 Trailblazer in, as the battery was being drained by a mechanical issue. It did take a few days for them to test and diagnose the problem, which was in the instrument panel. The instrument panel had to be sent out to be overhauled completely, which took an extra day. I am happy to say that I have had no problem starting my vehicle in the last five days since they did their repairs.

Comment: I had my exhaust pipe repaired here and it was amazing service you definitely pay more but things dont have to be fixed twice. And my car has never been quieter it was nicer than when I bought it. The main thing that has kept me coming back to get my brakes calipers and rotators replaced is Andrew who is the face of the business and much more. He is personable and willing to go the extra mile for his customers. Im currently getting my rear struts replaced there and they did miss the problem in the inspection which cost me some time but they were nice enough to lessen the cost of the repairs which is why I give them 5 stars. They werent shady about anything they just let me know they messed up and made up for it.

Comment: Through no fault of Auto Medics of Shelby, my 2000 Subaru Forester was not repaired. After an entire day of trying to remove the parts necessary to access the rear wheel bearing, the options turned to having to sacrifice numerous other components to get to it. This unfortunately became to cost prohibitive to continue as the cost of the repairs would exceed the value of the car.The team at Auto Medics offered numerous solutions, keeping in contact with me through all stages of the attempted repair. They expressed sincere regret that I would be leaving with a vehicle that had not been repaired.At the end of the day it was my decision to have them stop their attempts to repair the vehicle and come get it. I have decided to purchase another vehicle as this one is past its useful life.Although my car was not repaired, due to the excellent communication and customer service I would not hesitate to bring my next vehicle in for service at Auto Medics of Shelby.

I had a leaking tire and a wheel lock on my Dodge Dart that several lesser quality places could get off so I was putting air in my tire several times a day for weeks until I was referred here. Within 5 minutes of my arrival Atheel had fixed my wheel lock so I could get the tire off to fix it!! And he wouldnt charge me! No grumpy mechanics, attitudes or rip off scams going on here! Comment: Decided to try this shop based on reviews for my 2012 Avalanche. They offered to come and pick it up since i was arranging for a ride to drop it off. They were professional, honest especially since it was running rough and the every indicator light on the dashboard was lit up. It ended up being two sensors and the brakes, and rotors. They did not try to make any further recommendations needed that werent necessary to run.I worked with both Bret and Matt who went out of their way to get me the best deal with promos and available discounts offered. I would recommend anyone to bring their vehicle to Auto Medics for fair, honest and awesome work. My truck was inspected, and finished within 24 hours. They let my truck sit in their lot for 30 days while the insurance company of the other driver in my accident, dragged their feet.... They charged me nothing for those days! They were fast and responsive and they sent photos and video over text (a very nice touch) with breakdowns and explanations of the issues so that I was able to see it for myself. I bought a used car with lot of problems (as usual), but this place has solution for all the repairs that my car required. I bought this car in winter and as soon as summer hit, we realized the A/C wasn’t working at all. I got my car checked up several places, but Auto medic came out to be the one with best price and least service lead-time. They responded to the issue within a day and fixed the problem within two days. I remember the staff their stayed late just to meet the deadline that they promised. The staff is very friendly. Comment: Took my car in due to some lights on the dash. Guy was like must of been a fluke. The real problem is I needed new bearings. To dangerous to even drive. They showed me what was wrong and what it should be like. He gave me the whole car check up for free before even finding this. They repaired it gave me an oil change and got a huge discount on the club membership book. Well worth it!Down one star only because they used some crazy air torque and I was unable to take my own tires off recently. Had to change my break pads. I used an air torque gun. I used a torque wrench deep socket with a six foot pry bar. Couldn’t budge it. I went to the store to have them loosen it.Pro. The owner was like it shouldn’t of been that thought and apologized. He asked if I had the new break pads with me. I did. He said let me make it right. They changed me pads for me for free. I also needed new rotors and he gave them to me for cost. He didn’t make a dime off the transaction. Just wanted to make me a happy customer. And I am.Family shop. Wants to honor their work. Gives u drives home. They go above and beyond and do good work. I will always take my car to these guys. The treat you like family.

Comment: I was having an issue with an unknown fluid leek under my 2005 Jeep so when I called Auto Medics I spoke with Brett who was very accommodating and told me I could bring the Jeep in and he would look at it right away, which he did. Brett was very through and explained everything he saw and what needed to be repaired. After the repair I got the Jeep home and saw a leek again the next morning so I called Brad back he offered to come to my house and pick the Jeep up and take it back to his shop to look further into what the issue was, that was amazing customer service. Once it was determined what the additional issue was Matt the service manager got involved and did an amazing job to get the issue resolved, Matt worked closely with Atheel the owner to make sure I was happy and satisfied they absolutely bent over backwards to see that I was happy and really showed how they value there customers satisfaction. I have no doubt under Atheels leadership with the excellent staff he has assembled in place that Auto Medics will be in business for decades to come and will clearly be the only place I will go in the future to have any service done on my vehicles. Im so not a car person so I usually dread going to any kind of repair place since I never know if something is really needed or they are just trying to make money on things. I was referred to Auto Medics by Discount Tire for an alignment check after tire rotation. Im from Bloomfield so it was a bit of a hike but I have to say I will gladly take the hike anytime for all my car needs. When I first called the woman who arranged my appointment was cheerful and friendly (which at first was weird since Ive never experienced that at a car place!). When I arrived, the same woman checked me in and was very friendly still and welcoming. They checked my car in right away and looked it over. I did get the bad news that my alignment wasnt the problem but rather broken shock absorbers (DOH! I guess that rattling wasnt my kids dumping MMs somewhere!). The owner took me back and showed me exactly where all the problems were and made me feel confident that it was definitely a problem and they would be absolutely be able to fix it. Everyone was so friendly and even engaging in personal conversation which made me feel not so much like a business but rather I was a valued person and they were going to take care of me and my car. The place is AWESOME and has totally earned my familys business going forward. No more scary impersonal mechanics!

Comment: After replacing my headlight housings on a 2002 chevy tahoe i didnt have the means of adjusting them properly after calling pep boys and was told it would cost 20.00 per headlight is scheduled an appt to go in as i was on my way in they called to tell me they didnt do headlight adjustments. So i called a chevy dealer who also said they have never had to adjust headlights nor could they. I started to head home wondering how or where i could get this done so i wasnt blinding the whole state with my out of whack headlights so i happened to come across auto medics and decided why not stop and ask. I went in and let me say i was highly impressed and yes they were able to help me out . Matt was absolutely the best and the girl working the front (sorry i forgot her name ) was pleasant and friendly also i even removed a giant ant from her computer screen least i could do considering they fixed my headlights same day n such a short wait. I drove the SUV and it had high miles but had been serviced and ran good. All the problems that were found, were addressed by Al and his team. When i called to pick it up, I talked to Matt and requested the vechicle be put on the lift for final inspection. Without hesitation he said no problem and had it up in the air when i arrived. Most recently I had taken my car in for a check up and oil change but when I picked the car up, the car had a horrible miss and broke down when I tried to drive it home. I had the car towed back and left a message for Auto Medics to fix the car. The next day after several phone calls back and fourth we discovered the problem was a sensor and it had broke while to car was sitting after its repairs, auto medics even though they where not responsible fixed the issue and only charged me for the part. Auto medics is reliable, clear, and efficient. I would trust them to build my kids car from scratch.

As an older woman she was scared to get taken by fast talking sales people and talked into paying for repairs she didnt need. After talking to the mechanic that would be doing her repairs I felt confident in letting her handle the rest or the transaction. Matt clearly knows what he is doing. He took the time to walk her through each step of the repair process and told her the things she needed to repair right away because of safety issues and what could wait a few more months. Matt didnt pressure or rush her into buying repairs she didnt need and he patiently answered all of her questions no matter how silly they seemed, he didnt make her feel foolish for asking. Not only were they able to find and diagnose an issue that another repair shop had missed repeatedly, but their customer service is beyond amazing. They were able to provide me with a loaner vehicle while mine was being worked on, but they even coordinated with the tire shop I use to have my rear tires replaced while my car was in the shop. This saved me so much time and the aggravation of having to do it myself. Their customer service is beyond amazing. They have taken car repairs from being a huge ordeal and coordinating rides, to just one extra stop quick stop on my way to work. Their thorough discussion of the issues with my vehicle really helped me to understand the problem and feel confident in the fix. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone! Comment: My experience with Auto Medics of Shelby started with a small accident that bent one of my rims. The tire store I was at told me that I would need to have my alignment checked, and recommended this place. I called and spoke with Layla (sp?), who got me in right away. What I thought was going to be a quick alignment check turned out to be something much worse: front brakes completely gone, back brakes nearly so, and the tension rods would need to be fixed. Not exactly good news, given that Im moving out of state this summer. In any other shop, I feel like I would have been given the news and then been left holding the bag as to how I would pay for it.Not here. Not only did they give me the bad news in a friendly and compassionate manner, but Layla also went over possible financing options, and got me into one. They knew I needed my car and they did everything they could to try and get it for me the same day, although that was not to be for reasons out of their control. So, after staying past close in an effort to get done what they could, they gave me a ride home and picked me up the next day (which was Saturday, when theyre normally closed, and when they finished the work). I was able to drive my car home and to work. I could tell that the work they did was excellent by the way my car felt when driving it.I would not hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone in need, and were I not moving back to my home state this summer, I would make this shop my shop of choice for repairs. If youre on the fence about going here, hop off of it and GO! I dont recommend a lot of places, so when I do, be sure that its because they are top notch!

Lejla does a wonderful job of greeting you on the phone, asking all of the right questions and gets your car in quickly. My ignition was failing and they were able to get me in within 20 minutes and had it fixed within an hour and a half at a very reasonable price. Comment: I was in a couple weeks ago & let me start off by saying as a young female I was very weary because I always get told there are so many issues with my vehicles & they want me to pay a fortune for things I did not even go there for/usually dont need to be done/or arent done properly the first time. I called and made an appointment with the receptionist whom was very polite & there was no hassle, even had to reschedule last minute. When I got there the receptionist offered for the company to drive me & my 1 year old home for free & to pick us up when it was done. A couple hours later I got a call from the mechanic working on my car & he was very nice & descriptive. He explained to me that if the rotation was going to be done the tie-rods had to be replaced or it was useless to pay for the rotation. He explained how bad the tie-rods were which I had believed because when I bought this car it had been sitting for a couple years. I also asked for a brake light inspection to find the cause he said there would be a fee for the inspection. Being a single mom only working part time I didnt have the funds to pay for the work & then also the inspection at the moment, so I politely declined. He worked with me on the overall price of the work & even threw in a free full inspection of the brakes because he wanted me to have a safe vehicle for my son & I. I am very happy to have found a great & trust worthy place. Its the only shop Ive ever been to where I didnt feel like I was being talked down to or being scammed. I will definitely be back. Oh & they also have free loaner vehicles, & will go through step by step what is wrong with your car, SHOW & TELL you what is wrong and why as well, not many shops would do that. They strive for great service and they definitely go above and beyond that. I will be back, as well as, recommending everyone that needs vehicle repairs. I was about to invest a lot of money in buying a car but decided to take it for inspection first.After calling multiple mechanics in the area, I was able to speak to Lejla, who was very cordial and thorough while explaining the amount of work/inspection points done on the car. Mark (who i believe is the head mechanic there) took his time checking the car, took off the wheels, inspected each inch of the car. After a while Atheel (the owner) took his time to explain the issues found in the car and gave his recommendations. At the end Mark filled out all the paper work detailing all the required work. The whole team at AutoMedics was very helpful , service was top notch and they saved me thousands of dollars in suggesting we keep hunting for our car. A great thank you!

We scheduled an appointment with them at 5pm on a Friday and got there just before 6pm due to construction and traffic issues on our way over from the Ann Arbor area. They still agreed to take a look at a minivan we were considering buying. Our drive was nearly 2 hours with 2 tiny kids under 5 years in our old non-air-conditioned car. It was so nice to arrive to the clean, organized AutoMedics waiting area. It was kid friendly and stocked with some snacks and drinks that made everyone relieved after that long crummy drive. Layla, the secretary, was so sweet and helpful and really very accommodating. The mechanics spent nearly an hour and a half going over the van and in talking with us about its issues and what our options were! Amazing for a Friday evening - when you assume everyone just wants to get the heck out of work and go home. Mark, the head mechanic, and Atheel, the owner, each took their time and offered different ideas and suggestions of how we should proceed with or without the van. I cant imagine a better experience. I am new to the area and received a flyer in the mail from Auto Medics for a $20 tire rotation, oil and filter change, wash, and complete checkup. Comment: My daughter, from Atlanta Georgia, was visiting family in Grand Rapids and attended a wedding in Detroit. Unfortunately her Audi broke down at the wedding and had to be towed. The tow truck company highly recommended Auto Medics. I did everything by phone talking to the shop on Monday when they opened, getting the quote and ultimately having them repair the car. My daughter just text me and said she wished they were in Atlanta. She was impressed by them and her car is running well. The real kicker as a mother is dealing with all this long distance. Auto Medics even sent someone to Detroit to pick my daughter up from Greyhound. While repairing a car is never fun, the above and beyond customer service made this a stress free experience. Bob took a lot of time to explain to me the diagnosis with the car and what needed to be repaired to get the car back to Atlanta safely - and that the car has many more miles to go. Finding a honest and fair shop is difficult but I feel we lucked out with this shop. Unfortunately Auto Medics is too far to take our cars for all our service needs. Yall are lucky to have such a fabulous shop up there!
