Comment: My 20 year old vans transmission drain threads got stripped when I tried to flush the fluid. I couldnt get the drain plug back in tight enough because of the missing threads. This caused fluid leak. I took it to auto lab and they fixed it the same day. Highly recommended.

Over the years for the heavy repairs I have had to shop around for a shop that is as meticulous as I am (which are hard to find). Mark Stull is not only very knowledgeable, he is extremely professional, and most of all very meticulous when he handles my vehicles. He has worked on my Avalanche (daily driver) and my 1984 Z28 (toy car). If it is something I am not able to do in the driveway, I only take my vehicles to one place and that is to Mark. Highly recommended!

They call when they find out whats wrong and understand the time-sensitivity of customers needing a car.One thing that irks me about so many auto shops is the patronizing nature of the customer service. Im a small guy and Im not super macho, so Im not often taken seriously by mechanics. Not here, they treat me like an adult and I can respect and trust that kind of shop.

Comment: Great service, fast turnaround. They always save me money when they can. One example is when I thought my leaf springs broke; it turned out that my rear shackles were rusted out and they replaced only the shackles. I have over 150,000 miles on my truck and want to keep it going for a few years and they keep it going for me. I have had them work on my engine, transfer case, transmission, exhaust, brakes and I even get my tires from them. I often have them look over my truck to find things that are wrong to fix it before it breaks and I know I can trust them to only replace parts that need to be replaced. I wont go anywhere else.

Comment: My experiment with autolab is great. They gave me a good price for fixing the brakes of my car: rotor calipers, and pads. The bolts of my car are rusted, so the labor might vary, but autolab gave me a fixedfair price so that I did not have to worry about that. Best of all, they have a free loan for a car, so it saves all the hassle of renting a car with another expense. The free car loan is a total courtesy!

Comment: In early December of 2012, my car broke down at 14 Mile and Dequindre, in the middle of morning rush hour. I was able to push it (a 94 Jeep grand Cherokee isnt an easy push under the best of conditions) into the left turn lane. I called AutoLab Troy. The young man, Tony, who answered the phone first asked if I was safe, then told me he would have a tow there for me soon. Half hour later, my car and I were at the shop. They gave me a loaner car, and told me they would check it out, and let me know what the story was. I got a call about two hours later, explaining the problem, and that the car would be ready the next day. Sure enough, when I called the next day, it was done, and the price (which included the tow bill) was so reasonable that I had to ask if they were sure that was all it was costing. Thanks so much to Keith, Scott, Glen, Tony, and of course, the owners, Mark Stahl and Robert Faranso. Quick quality work, and great prices. Great combo!!!
