Ive been taking my cars here since I was in college, and they have always taken great care of me. The communication is excellent, they always explain things in a way I can understand, and the work they do is second to none. Pricing is fair too! Ladies bring your car here, and I promise you wont have to call your dad for help. These guys take care of their customers like family. Cant sing their praises enough.

They are honest with their inspections and have fair pricing. I have never felt pressured into getting any additional/unnecessary work done on the car. Both jobs were finished in the same day. I highly recommend Autolab and will continue coming back in the future as needed!

Communication was outstanding, they found the problem and did further checking looking for other weak hoses. I asked for radiator flush also.It was done earlier than anticipated. Comment: As is always the case, I had an excellent experience with Auto Zone. In fact, this time they exceeded my expectations!I called them Tue. (Ron answered the phone), and I asked when I might schedule an exhaust system replacement for my F-150. Ron asked what was wrong with it. I explained that a portion of the exhaust had rusted out, the tail pipe fell to the ground while I drove on 96 with the very loud, distinctive, metallic scraping noise was easily heard as it drug on the pavement. I continued, the pipe had since been tied with part of a fishing stringer that kept the tailpipe up off the ground.Ron replied he could get me in tomorrow, Wed., then he asked if it was convenient for me to bring it in today so he could take a look to get a better idea of what is needed. (WHAAAAAAT? I thought) I couldnt believe it, no other general repair shop had ever offered such a service to me. (One sign that reminded me this Auto-Lab was not a typical repair shop)! I drove up there, Ron came out, crawled under the truck, and removed about 5 feet of exhaust that had rusted out (no charge!). I confirmed the appt. for the next day to drop it off. I informed him that Id need a ride home if there was any way, and Ron replied that he could get me a ride home since I lived relatively close.Wed. morning I decided to use one of my AAA tows, to cancel Rons offer for a ride home (thereby saving their time to do so) I had called Ron at 8:01 AM and informed him to watch for the tow truck. He mentioned that one of his guys had called out sick that day, so they may be running a bit behind. I replied they could keep the truck overnight if necessary. The truck was dropped off at around 9 AM, and I was amazed when I received a call from Ron at 12:25 PM and told me, Your trucks ready. It came to mind that I had a slow leak in my driver side rear tire, so I asked if they had time to look at it, and Ron said without hesitation, sure, well take a look. He called me back 1 minute later, reported a nail was found in the tire, and I gave verbal permission for them to patch it. Ron knew I had earlier arranged for a ride to pick the truck up, so he asked what time my ride was due, I replied around 3 PM, and he said that would be plenty of time.Outstanding customer service by staff with fast, honest, and efficient work; Id recommend Auto-Lab to anybody in need of an auto repair!

With all the questions being asked & lack of people working on my vehicle at the previous place, I wanted to get it checked by a second place to verify it was done properly. Thankfully the person at the desk was able to take a quick look. He let me know everything was screwed on tight & that they had put in only the minimum amount of oil & not refilled my washer fluid. He went ahead & refilled my washer fluid as well as added a little oil for safety. I will definitely be bringing my vehicle here from now on.

Comment: My daughter had her car dropped off here after the vehicle would not start. They were able to get the car into the shop and diagnose the issue right away. The woman I spoke over the phone was professional and courteous and guided me through the entire bill prior to the repair. They were flexible and provided a fair price for the work performed. There was constant communication via text and email throughout the process. The only delay was with parts which cost my daughter several days without her car, but that was not the fault of the shop. My family recommends Auto-Lab and thanks them for great experience in the repair and maintenance of my daughters car

Comment: Jenison Auto-Lab provided excellent service for us. We had a complex repair: timing chain failure on a Cadillac CTS. I thought my best option was to take it to a Cadillac dealer, however, Auto-Lab had their ASE Certified Technician call me and explain that Auto-Lab is equipped and staffed to handle this repair. Auto-Labs staff communicated with us as the repair progressed. I know for sure that the price for the work was fair. I also appreciate that they didnt tack on extra expenses, instead covering additional issues with no extra charges. If youre looking for a skilled car repair facility staffed by trustworthy technicians, then give Auto-Lab your business.

They were upfront and honest about the entire situation. I was even pulled into the shop so they could show me exactly what was wrong on my vehicle and explain things clearly to me (being a young female, SO appreciated.) They promised not to fix or charge anything until I was given a thorough quote. They then spent the day researching and came to find out it was a dealership recall issue. I received a phone call, and they were upfront and wanted to insure I received the most fair and appropriate services. Highly impressed and would definitely recommend! Amazing customer service!

Comment: Had a few year history with auto lab regarding issues that the Ford dealership could not identify or repair but auto lab did without a problem. Its sad when the dealership had my car for months and never figured out when autolab did immediately. Most recently they did a check for my long journey across country from hood to trunk and I dont believe that I would have been reassured enough without the mechanic himself telling me every aspect of what needs to be done and when and outlined it, but was given the safe go ahead, 1200 miles later, not a problem in my travels. That says more than you know about trusting a mechanic and his team. You wont be disappointed.

The problem persisted even after a new starter motor was installed by Auto-Lab.They took the vehicle back and found a problem with a broken flywheel bolt that actually appeared on a Honda technical service bulletin. They went above and beyond normal service and fixed that existing problem, returned the vehicle to us, and its working satisfactorily. We are more than happy with the service and technical expertise we received. Thanks Auto Lab.

Comment: I just started going to AutoLab Jenison last year for my oil changes. Since then, I have gone several times to have them service my car as well as my wifes. They do a fantastic job, are very prompt and stick to their appointments well, and provide an excellent summary when finished. They provide recommendations of what may else may need repair but give the customer the option to pursue or not. When waiting for your vehicle, they provide coffee, Wi-Fi, and magazines -- plenty to keep someone entertained while waiting. I am very happy with this place and will continue to use them going forward.

Comment: Auto-Lab provides the best auto repair that Ive experienced in metro-GR. This is because they:-Are thorough in their diagnosis. Independent shops are sometimes at a disadvantage because they have to work on so many makes and models, and from what Ive experienced elsewhere, this translates into throwing parts at a car in hopes that your problem will be solved. I havent experienced that at Auto-Lab. When they call with a quote, theyve isolated the cause of the problem, and have researched the least painful way to get it fixed.-Are honest on the work that needs to be done. I get the feeling that they value my dollar as much as I do.-Inspections are helpful, in that they tell you of upcoming maintenance items.Im always disappointed when I go somewhere else - I wish every shop was like Auto Lab.

Comment: I have an update to my review, but so you dont have to read the original review, the story is basically my wife took my car in for 60 k mile maintenance, it took a little longer than usual, and there were some additional charges and repairs made without notifying us in advance first or requesting permission.Ive corresponded with Carlos & Marcus, the owners, since then and I have to say it is very rare to come by such impeccable customer service. I am very impressed with his attention to the customer and righting wrongs, even if theyre not completely wrong themselves.In my case, Carlos & Marcus apologized for the long wait and lack of phone calls/communication regarding the wait and additional repairs. they also took the time to review my invoice and send compensation for the repairs done without explicit permission. While I realize this was not necessary as I wouldve likely paid for repairs had I been asked first, they went ABOVE AND BEYOND what most businesses would do. And they took care of all of this within 1 business day. Tell me another business that wouldve done the same thing with the same expediency, and theyve got my business too.Because of their integrity, open communication, and willingness to work with the customer, Auto-Lab Complete Car Care Center now has my trust for future car repairs, and I can wholeheartedly recommend Carlos & Marcus and their business to friends and family without any reservations.
