Comment: I brought my car in hoping to get a check engine light looked at same day. I was not sure what to expect as there were several cars in the parking lot. They were able come out to pull the codes immediately. Within a couple hours, it was diagnosed, repaired- and they also fixed a wiring issue that was a separate problem for the initial one. Every single person was kind, respectful, and they explained things to be in clear terminology. They updated me regularly on their progress and I never felt rushed, pressured or like I was a bother. While I waited, I witnessed the same excellent care for all of the customers both in person and over the phone. I highly recommend Auto-Lab for your automotive work.

Comment: HIGHLY Recommend this place, they go above & beyond, with not only care for the vehicle but also in EXCELLENT Customer Service, Ive been here twice, once was for a second opinion, after another shop had told me my vehicle needed a whole new engine, Auto Lab found that was NOT the case at all, I went from an original 8k estimate for a motor from the other place, to a $1700 repair from Auto Lab, they could have completely tried to upsell me, but they were SO Honest, I will now Only Trust Auto Lab with my vehicles, I sent my parents to them, after they had a similar issue with the same shop that I had, and Mike at Auto Lab, is actually going to bat for my parents, trying to make right, when the other shop completely took advantage of my parents on a fixed income, and the 2nd time I took my vehicle here for breaks, when it took slightly longer for the repair then they originally thought (Not Auto Labs fault), this was due to a major storm rolling through, it left me in a bad spot with my own business, not having my vehicle to make deliveries, Auto Lab again went over and beyond and one of their employees offered to loan his own vehicle to me for the day, till the repair was completed, which definitely, helped save me and my business that day, allowing me to continue Great customer service for my own clients. I cannot stress enough, how much I appreciate Mike and all the staff at Auto Lab, I have never trusted ANY auto repair shop, until now.Theyre the BEST! Thank You Again Auto Lab!

Comment: BRANDON FROM AUTO LAB TO THE RESCUE!! Im embarrassed to say that I ran out of gas in the Home Depot parking lot in Fenton. (1st time ever! facepalm) I had just been to VGs to get gas and they said they lost power and I couldnt. I tried to make to the BP on Silver Lake Rd but chugged into Home Depot to a stop and was blocking traffic within the parking lot by a stop sign. My husband was still 45 min away heading my way. Our insurance company couldnt get anyone there for 2 hours. A lot of Karens flipping me off, honking etc like I was there just to upset them. Just as I was losing hope in humanity and keeping my head down as to not to have to endure the rudeness of others....I looked up to see 2 young men (angels) drive up out of nowhere and asked if I needed a push into a parking spot! I was grateful as they did that and told them so. They pushed and were gone within seconds. Thank you to those dudes too! My husband remembered AUTO LAB COMPLETE CAR CARE CENTER right across the road where I was at and called them when he found out about the insurance companys eta.BRANDON FROM AUTO LAB was there so quick after my husband told me they were running over to help. He came with a jug of gas and got me running again enough to get to that next gas station down the street. I asked him how much and he denied payment for helping me, even for the gas! I want to give more than 5 stars because he got me out of the Annoyed Karen flip off and honking zone and on my way home to get my sons birthday dinner going! Thank you so much Brandon and crew at AUTO LAB for responding so quickly and taking time out just for an out of gas call across the road. Comment: Tom & the entire Crew @ AutoLab are PHENOMINAL. Had our truck towed here after it broke down on the road (on a FRIDAY afternoon), we were told that they wouldnt be able to get to the truck until next week since theyre closed on Sat/Sun (it was after 4 on a Friday - that was totally understandable), I was expecting wed probably hear back around Wednesday. Well, 9:00 AM Monday, my phone rings and its Tom; truck fuel pump needs replaced and a few other things (that went right over my head) but we knew were necessary we told him to fix it all... again, Im assuming it will be Wednesday before we can pick up the truck... later that day, I get the call.. Your truck is done and ready for pick up. Picked up the next morning and it runs like a new truck. 3 Weeks later, my car has issues; mostly maintenance issues that I let go for far too long since I was going to trade it in (sticker prices changed my mind). New suspension, battery, sway bar replacement, alignment, new battery and a whole lot of other things that I am totally clueless on (but, I trust AutoLab so, if they say I need it, I believe them). They dont go looking for problems, and dont up-sell you on added things you dont need. The following Monday, I took my car to Belle Tire for new tires (they do constantly up-sell) and I know that but, they were insisting that I needed an alignment (I had just had it done at AutoLab), I told them not to bother and called Tom he said bring it back so they could check it out... Long story short - Belle Tire was incorrect, love my new tires but Belle should stick to tires .. leave the rest to the pros at AutoLab... I would not go anywhere else for car/truck repair... I have more that will need to be done, now, its not so stressful, I know I can trust AutoLab of Fenton, they are the BEST and prices are very reasonable. Spruce up your buggy, take it here tell em Sharon (aka: PITA) sent ya LOL.

We still had three hours to go and were devastated as earlier attempts for getting help with the car did not work out. We came here to try the rental place attached to this shop. We went in here on a whim, and they were so incredibly helpful. They were able to make us a new part and get everything fixed within the hour! Comment: I am honored to add my 5 star review to this list. In many years of taking cars to a mechanic I have never felt so listened to and respected. We had presented a noise to our most current mechanic for diagnoses to be told “it has to get worse before we can diagnose it”. Which I now believe to be a crutch for a person who’s hearing isn’t what it used to be. When I explained the noise to Barb on the phone she suggested we ride along with one of her mechanics to point out the noise. Brilliant. And exactly what was needed. Within seconds her mechanic was able to hear the noise and explained to me his theory on what preceded it and how it will be addressed. Getting our car back we felt like it was a totally new driving experience and the car was functioning the way it’s manufacturer intended. They even suggested a few other things they noticed that needed to be addressed. But not in that way where you feel like they looking to add to the bill. For years I told myself I wanted to give a woman owned mechanic shop a try. And I’m glad I did. They have my loyalty firm now on.

Comment: I had to take in my Nissan Murano to Autolab in Fenton, MI. for what I was positive was the front bearings. I knew this would cost around $1700. I was very stressed to say the least. When they started to fix my car I was always getting updates from I believe Dave. Always super, super friendly and so informative! He said it was in fact my power steering pump!! He charged me a reasonable price and I was thrilled with the results!! Most mechanics, I believe, could have replaced my bearings and the power steering charging me a small fortune, Auto Lab DID NOT!! Their honesty is unbelievable and for this they will be the only place I ever take any of my vehicles to be repaired! A co-worker accidentally left their debit card in my car and I returned it the day I was informed. To me this was not a big deal but the gratefulness I received from the owners, again I believe Dave and the woman behind the counter, maybe his wife, I do not know...was unreal!! They thanked me several times and were so grateful which just shows the kind of character they have. Thank you Auto Lab for such an amazing experience which most don’t have when needing a vehicle repair!

Comment: Had to have my 2006 GMC truck towed in for wheel bearings. Truck was diagnosed, and determine that both sides should be changed. Had the truck back in less than two days, very quick for a semi-major repair. Straightforward owners, did not try to sales pitch me into things I did not need, and were extremely polite. I just found my new home for fixing my three vehicles. Thanks very much!

Comment: Barb was awesome. I was in Fenton for a drug test for a job vehicle started over heating I popped the hood and saw my belt was shredding. Well I started my vehicle and the belt slipped off and the water pump was toast. Pulled in and Barb got me set up with the parts and got it in and worked on right away. I live in the Lansing area so they really helped me out! Thank you so much if I am ever in Fenton and have car problems I will come here in a heart beat!

Comment: Recently it was so cold out that the outside door latch on my Camary snapped off when I went to open my door (at 5pm). I took it in, Barb and Dave told me not to worry. Left it overnight, and was able to drive away the next day all fixed up. Also, the light bulbs behind my instrument panel had burned out. Dave had one of his guys fix that for me also. I recommend Auto Lab for any problems you may have. Been a customer for over 10 years, never had problem they couldnt fixed. Always a pleasant outcome to any situation.

Comment: I would recommend Auto Lab to anyone. They are just good people and their prices are reasonable. I took my car in for brakes because another company told me that I needed brakes. Auto Lab of Fenton sent me home and said that my brakes had 30% usage left. Plus their quote was 25% less than the other auto repair place. They turn repairs around quickly. There is no reason to go anywhere else.

They contacted me in a timely manner the following day and were so helpful through the entire process. Our old jalopy wasnt worth repairing and they connected us with a local scrap yard. Being from out of town it was comforting to have someone like Barb and Dave (owners) help with all the details. Barb never once made me feel like I was asking too much of her. This was by far the best customer service I have experienced in a long time.
