He changed the entire suspension. I’ve done my oil change ans I fixed my AC also with Jamal. Lastly Jamal fixed my left driver air struts. The quality of service & work is just great. The price is affordable and he extends the service even after the visit. I highly recommend this shop to anyone. You will be satisfy 100%. His son also do a car detail which is affordable. I finally walked across the street from the Speedway and came here to Auto Alignment Plus. The father and son who own the shop immediately offered to help me and got it fixed in minutes and ordered me new lug nuts. I was on the verge of tears waiting 5 hours for help from roadside assistance, should have came here much sooner! Wonderful service, A+++

Comment: The most honest mechanic I have ever dealt with. He gave me the best options for repairs that would not break my pocket. I took my car in because it was leaking oil after I changed a part a couple of days earlier. Victory Oil Change recommended me to JZ and he was able to get my issue fixed within a day. Turns out my Variable Valve Actuator that I bought was missing a small rubber piece that caused the oil to leak. Who knows what a dealership or most mechanics would have charged? Just the other day, I hit a pothole going to Briarwood Mall which messed up my tire. He took it in and fixed the bent rim right in front of me in less than 10 minutes. You dont meet people like him with this integrity and compassion, let alone mechanics. I will be leaving Michigan and I would ship my car to him for my repairs if I could! Give this shop a call if youre in the Ypsi area and need your car fixed, you will NOT be disappointed!

Comment: I highly recommend Auto Alignments Plus to anyone. The axle, ball joint and tire rod were damaged on my front driver side. He took a lot of time helping unload my vehicle from a tow truck after it was loaded improperly, and used all of his jacks to prevent the frame from getting damaged. He was very kind and empathetic toward the young tow truck driver and to me, and really went above and beyond. He also charged me a reasonable price, considering all of the extra work he did on my car, that I really dont think someone else would have done. I was so grateful I chose to take my car there!

Comment: Outstanding! I have never had a better experience at an auto repair shop in the four plus decades that I’ve been driving. My son and I were out of town, late on a Saturday afternoon and blew a tire. My van is AWD and there is no spare. Moreover, this tire was not going to be salvageable. During the wait for AAA’s tow service, I searched for someone who could replace my tire immediately, and get us back on the road and able to return home. No small feat. After about a dozen or so unsuccessful calls (closed, short-staffed, didn’t have the tire, couldn’t do it today, etc..). I randomly dialed Auto Alignment Plus, and upon hearing our situation, was promptly assured that they’d help us and stay open until we were towed there. I was concerned about the AWD problem and whether they’d have the right tire. He said not to worry, he’d figure something out. Seemed almost too good to be true. Joe’s son even stopped by to check on us and see the flat, and reassure me that his dad would handle it. So kind! Once towed, my van was repaired quickly, professionally, and for a most reasonable price. We also had such a pleasant conversation, it is people like this who restore your faith in the goodness of humanity! I truly wish I lived closer - I would always take my cars to Joe and his sons and recommend my friends and family do the same. Ypsilanti is blessed with the best.

Comment: Hit a patch of ice today and ran my right tires into a curb pretty hard. Noticed my car pulling to the right and knew I needed to have it looked at. Remembered there was an auto body shop near my home. I have never been treated so well and so kind from a mechanic! The owner immediately came out to look and said he’d like to put my car on the hoist. Showed me the bend tight rod and within an hour I was back on the road. As a female I get taken advantage of at mechanics often because I don’t know enough. But this shop is family owed and extremely trust worthy. He even fixed my headlight without charge. JZ and his son Mo showed me kindness and professionalism that is hard to find these days. I’ll be back! (Cross your fingers not for a while lol) but I’ll recommend people here in a heartbeat. When I visited, I explained what happened, he asked me a few questions, and immediatly knew the solution. After a heavy snow fall, snow can enter the wheel and cause an unbalance which leads to your car shaking. This business could have easily told me something else and charged me whatever price to get it fix; but he was honest and fair.This has happened to myself and other people in the past and other business, like the big names and even small shops around the area, easily charge you over $100, just to wipe the snow out of the rims.I recommend visiting this business and its people because they actually want to help and they will get you the best price in the area. In August 2019 I came thinking that I only needed my driver side brake pads fixed and it turned out that I needed both the driver side and passenger side replaced. Because I am a student Jamal (the owner/mechanic) was very kind enough to provide me with a great affordable deal. In addition, I also needed an oil change and although I didnt come there for one, he was kind enough to give me one for no charge for my safety since I had a far drive to get home. The best part about my experience was that I had came right after taking my final exam for my Organic Chemistry 2 summer class. With this being said, I hadnt eaten all day and I was exhausted. The owner noticed and allowed me to relax and stay cool while watching Netflix. He even offered me water and food so that I could stay hydrated and nourished during that hot August summer day. (The food was very good by the way!) He was kind, respectful, funny, and unlike many mechanics he was very honest. He treated me as though I was his daughter. Both he and his son are some of the friendliest people Ive ever met and it is easy to see that they truly care for their customers. Not only was his service affordable, but it was also very good. I have not had any other problems with my brakes. He was recommended to me by a close friend of mine and since August I have been recommending him to my friends as well. I will definitely be coming back for both his services and to show my appreciation for his kindness and hospitality. Thank you again Jamal!

I have never encountered such excellent customer service and detailed attention to customer needs in my life, especially when it comes to my car. We all know that living in Michigan (Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall), you absolutely need your car, and you NEED to know the estimated time it will be ready! When my cars tire blew out, and the ball joint broke among other issues, I took it to Alignments Plus on recommendation from Discount Tire. When I called Stephanie, she listened to my issue, and told me they would take care of it. They were super busy, and told me when the car would be ready, and kept good on their promise. I absolutely appreciate that. My car had issues from a previous mechanic, and Errol, the owner stayed late working on these issues that he wasnt even responsible for. You cannot find this type of service just anywhere, and I was told that they opened up on Saturday just for a few customers (one of those customers was me), so that they could finish our cars and return them before the weekend was over, since they were closed on weekends. I took my car in on Friday, and it was finished by Saturday morning. I was so impressed, that I have returned again for other issues, and tell my friends and co-workers about this place. I always contact Alignments Plus first to see if my car repair is something that they handle. All of the staff are nice, and experts at their craft. They are honest, and care about the community in which they serve. This shows in how they treat their customer because they care about your safety and respect your time!
