Comment: This is a great group of people here. I scheduled an appointment to inspect a grind / squeak in my suspension. They checked it and called me later to let me know everything looked great and no repairs were recommended. It wound up being something very minor that they took care of for me, and my car was ready for pickup by the end of the day as planned. They didnt try to sell me on a bunch of preventive services I didnt need like most other shops Ive dealt with in the past. The entire experience from setting the appointment to picking up the car was a pleasure. These are trustworthy folks and I dont plan to take my car anywhere else from now on. Thanks guys!

Comment: Let me tell you my story and what I have experienced with Arie Nol Auto Center. First and foremost I lived in Grand Rapids, Michigan for over 24 years. I had owned multiple vehicles in this period, and of course I need repairs done to my vehicles, and I had repairs done in many repair shops in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In Toyota of Grand Rapids, Fox Kia/Hyundai, Mafler Man, Quick Lane Auto shop, and many repairs that I cant even remember. Now let me start telling my story. This October, 2023. I needed repairs done to my vehicle for acceleration problems whe I hit gas pedal the vehicle does not accelerate right, but still drivable. Its 2009 Toyota Matrix 2.4L, so I took it to Fire store on 28th and East Beltline. After they had looked up. They told me its transmission problem you need to take it to a transmission shop. The next day I took it to a transmission shop called Bobs Transmission on 28th street. I dropped off my vehicle there and called me the next day. They told me its transmission problem and you need a transmission and the price is about $4,700.00. That was shocking. Then a friend of mine told me about a Hispanic repiar shop I went there I told him the problem. He said its gonna take me 2 to 3 weeks. OK. I said thats fine. Thanks. Then after a week another friend of mine said to me it might not be a transmission problem if you dont have shifting problems. I said yes I dont have shifting problems my vehicle shifts well the only problem is when I hit the gas pedal it wont accelerate. Then I Googled repiar shops. In my search for a repair shop my eyes caught a repair shop called Arie Nol Auto center I looked at their website and tried to make an appointment. When I looked at their calendar the earliest date is a month from now I said must not be correct something is wrong with website, so I had to go there in person. I have talked to Matt at the service desk he told me its gonna be a month from now. Do you want to book an appointment now I said yes, when I left the shop I said to myself a month from now this is something that I havent seen in my entire life. If I had to wait for a month this guys are the best in the town. When it was my appointment day I dropped my vehicle they called me the next day. Guess what was the problem guys. It was just the transmission speed sensor. Oh my God Oh my God are you guys kidding me are you guys telling me the truth. I said wow. They fixed my vehicle and recommended me to have my brakes done and my battery. This is the greatest repiar shop I have ever seen in my life. God bless you guys I just want to say thank you for looking after my vehicle and resolve my problems, you saved me thousands of dollars. I would and do recommended that needs help with their vehicles. Thank you Arie Nol Auto Center. I swear God you are the greatest repiar shop that I have ever seen. Thanks again. And God bless you. Most recent, dealer diagnosed oil leak with $1100 estimate to replace oil filter housing unit gaskets. Ariel Nol diagnosed that the leak was not from the oil filter housing unit but from a simple leaking oil pressure sensor at a cost of less than$180 which fixed the problem.

They do a fantastic job with the work and with communication.It had been two years since we last had our vehicle serviced by them, but both guys remembered exactly who we were and how my brother and I take care of my mom and the car she inherited after my father passed.They charge a very fair price and we have never had issues after a repair. They are willing to take another look if something seems off. They also do their best to fit you into their schedule. I had a last minute request and they were able to fit us in and complete the work ahead of their promised time - even more amazing since I know that vehicle repairs are slammed with work lately.I would 100% recommend them to others. Comment: I have a lightly modified Subaru. Motor blew up. I was deciding between selling the shell or fixing. Contacted many shops, some never even got back to me. One offered to buy the shell from me but did not have time to take on the fix. Two others gave me an estimate for a used engine. Arie Nol was the only shop that could replace with a new engine and the quote was only slightly higher than for a used engine. I had to wait to get the car in, as they were very busy, but it was worth it.Upon getting the car into their shop, they discovered more damage than expected. But they finished the job in a timely manner, close to the estimate price, and Matt gave me updates along the way. The new engine runs great.I will be taking my cars to Arie Nol from now on. They take their work seriously and I know I can trust them.

They have saved me THOUSANDS of dollars over the years, gone out of their way to provide us top notch service and regularly gone above and beyond the call of duty. On several occasions when Ive brought cars in I was considering buying for the kids, they have inspected them for me and given expert advice on their pros and cons. I recall one occasion, some ten years ago, when I had my own car towed to a garage very close to my house. That garage quoted me some ridiculously high amount for a brake job. I didnt feel good about that quote and had the car towed from that garage to Ari Nols, which is quite a bit farther away. Jeffs quote was some $600 less. The other garage wanted to replace the entire braking system. Jeff said that wasnt necessary, but that it is easier to replace the whole system than the individual component that was bad. Thankfully, in a world that has all but lost or forgotten the virtues of honesty, hard work, kindness and generosity, Ari Nols still exists and still does things right. Thanks, Jeff!!!!!

I used them for a transmission issue and for general maintenance, both times they were amazing. I just recently brought my vehicle in for an oil change. They called me after I had dropped my car off to ensure I was quoted properly for the right price of the oil change with it being a diesel. Even though they had already correctly quoted me when I scheduled the appointment, it was nice to see that they cared about not blindsiding customers with any price changes. They helped take care of another maintenance item and made it a priority to have my vehicle back as quickly as possible. Matt in particular was extremely kind throughout the whole process, even when I came back with other issues. Their prices are not outrageous but they are reasonable for the knowledge and skill of their service and their customer service is outstanding. This is a way better option compared to going to a dealership and I feel that they are much more honest with their work where you are not left wondering if you are getting taken advantage of. I plan to use them for any repairs in the future!

Comment: I had a tough call on whether to keep my 2000 Lexus RX300 going or move on to another vehicle. I knew it needed struts all around which is costly, but worried struts might just be the tip of the iceberg. I asked Arie Nol to inspect the vehicle for other problems before doing the struts and advise on whatever else might be needed. That way I could make an intelligent decision before spending money. They called and said it made sense to add some other suspension pieces which were marginal and that doing it at the same time as the struts would save on cost. They quoted me a price which was reasonable for the vast amount of work. I just picked up the car today and it rides like a brand new vehicle - you would not believe the difference. They have been very thorough with the information provided regarding repairs to my ’92 Mercedes, and repairs have always been made in a very timely manner and at fair prices. Comment: I was looking to have a pre-purchase inspection done on a used car, at a AAA and ASE recommended place in the vicinity of the dealership I was working with. I could not have lucked out better than with Arie Nol! They were very flexible with the timing of my visit, and even made time to inspect two cars in 1 day. They saved me from making a VERY expensive mistake with the first car, and gave me bargaining advice on the second car. Jeff, the owner, does all of the pre-purchase inspections and was very approachable and forthright. I felt like he was taking care of me as he would want someone to take care of one of his family members. Everyone else in the shop was kind as well. Tidy shop and waiting area.
