I initially had my car worked on at the dealership but were not able to repair it at a responsible price.I then called and scheduled an appointment at Ambrosia, and they were able to get me in the following work day. They looked at it on Monday, and I had it back the next day. They saved me over $2500, and what the dealership was going to replace would NOT have fixed the issue.Ambrosia was honest and up front with everything. I want to thank Jo, Ryan, Will, and the un-named technician who worked on my car. They got me up and running quickly and at a fair price. I will definitely be back in the future and highly recommend them to anyone needing auto repairs.

Comment: Where from Southwest Detroit and we have been shopping and doing ALL OF OUR BUSINESS AND RECREATION in Toledo/Sandusky/Oregon area etc since the Pandemic, last year are house,basement,property was severly damaged by that flood which was the City,County,State,Det Water and Sewage fault,we are in a Large Class Action Lawsuit right now, plan to move to Ohio after its done. Absolutely no good mechanics here in Detroit anymore, specially along the west,north west and even down river suburbs have gone as far as Wayne Mich and Wyandotte, some can,t speak English and looks like your in a third world repair shop, also if you drop it off takes 8 hours to get home by bus at a 10 miles distance, bus system is just awful in metro Detroit.Checked out Ambrosia about 2 years ago when we had our 2003 Durango, let the Dodge go a few months ago due to mostly being eaten away by Rust ( alot of rust problems with the 1998-2003 Dodge Durango) had about 240,000 miles anyway, currently purchased a 1995 Plymouth Voyager that had 96,000 miles from a used dealership, BMG in Hastings Mich, recently had Ambrosia do the Rear Brakes and Timing belt because the brakes were coming apart and belt was dry rot, had to come back a week later due to the Parking Brake Light coming on a few times and the brakes getting spongy than a loud clicking sound would come on and lights went out and brakes felt normal found out it was the sensor by the Brake Pedal, Ray took care of the issue, also Ray and Will always will give you a deal on the labor/parts specially if it a large bill like mine was. They do vintage cars, thinking about bringing our 67 Plymouth Fury to his shop, only negative issue with Ambrosia is the parking space in their shop , they do have the one at Zorba,s but the space close to the garage is kinda of close, my 67 Plymouth which was considered a Mid Size car back in the 60s is larger than any car made now. Still shopping around for that, CJs,Alex Motors, etc anyway I believe one of the best automotive shops in the Toledo area, better than anything we have in all of Metro Detroit

Comment: As a woman, I am always leery of going to get my car fixed. If anyone feels like me, I would recommend going to Ambrosia Automotive. The front desk staff is very helpful and respectful. They called and gave me the estimated price prior to doing the brake and maintenance work that I took it in for. They told me up front that if it was up to 10% over they would not call, but anything over that they would call before doing extra work. Their price was fair and the work and customer service was excellent.

Ive had my 05 MINI Cooper S here a few times and have never been treated as second-class for bringing them a European-built car (anyone whos tried getting most shops to touch a BMW, Merc, Audi, etc will be familiar with what Im referring to) and the prices have always been great.They wont sell you parts just to turn a profit. If your car doesnt need it, they wont force it on you. This said, I cannot believe that the 1-star reviewer is being completely honest about how the events happened. That just doesnt accurately reflect the Ambrosias experiences of myself and these few dozen others on here, and I cant be convinced that there arent details missing from that story.Keep up the great work!

Comment: We have gone to Ambrosias multiple times now and were thrilled with our experiences. Jo and Ryan went above and beyond to ensure we had our car back before the holiday weekend at our last visit. They were friendly and informative, consistently updating us on all work done to our vehicles(which cannot be said for other mechanics we have interacted with) and for a more than reasonable price. We HIGHLY recommend Ambrosias. We will never take ours to another shop again.

Comment: Trustworthy and honest! I took my car in for some in depth repairs and when they found something more severe than expect they contacted me and updated me on everything. They explained what was wrong, offered me alternatives and never left me in the dark. The repair time was speedy considering the big job they took on, and I never once felt like they were irritated by the issues or upset by how much the repair changed. Ryan has truly developed the Mom and Pop feeling along with his wife Jo, and the staff!! I could not thank them enough! I Will never go anywhere else for repairs again!
