Found a couple other issues during inspection & included it all in an emailed report with pictures. Final invoice was very detailed with what exactly was done during servicing. As a woman I’ve felt taken advantage of by other shops before, but definitely not here at A&D. They’ve definitely got my trust and future business!!

Where other body shops tried to schedule my car to come in weeks away, they towed in my car the day I called them. They worked with my insurance and were clear and transparent in all their communication. My car ended up getting totaled, but A&D knew how to make a terrible situation just a bit more bearable. Within an hour they had my daughters Mini loaded up and hauled in. A short while later, expecting the worst(it is a Mini Cooper and can be known to be expensive) I was shocked at how inexpensive the repairs were going to be. They even replaced my unit lock when It broke and I could not get into it the day we were leaving on vacation. They got it in that morning and got the lock set replaced which allowed us to leave that day.Very positive experience as always.A&D inspected our newly purchased motorhome without any cost. They delivered a full and detailed report of the inspection. We also dropped off a vehicle to be repaired after an accident and they did a great job and provided a loaner and even helped out.. with the deductable. They were very patient with us as we added services andalso programmed a new remote as well.I recommend A&D for all mechanical and body work. I also use them to inspect any vehicles I am looking to purchase and they provide this service for free. A&D is a breath of fresh air in the Auto Repair and body shop world. We have been cheated with many repair shops and now prefer to drive to A&D for honest estimate and repair job.Thank you A&DA&D also inspects any vehicle that I am looking to purchase and keeps me informed of any known issues with them. After the free 80 point inspection rather than recommending lots of repair they told me that there was basically nothing they could do to make my car road safe and that I probably shouldn’t drive it anymore. I appreciated their candid appraisal and advice. When I finally find another car I will be coming to A & D for service and repairs.Update July 2023Brought my new, to me, Chevy Impala just before a long trip to make sure my AC was working as I was headed south to 90 + degree weather. Where the AC had been working sort of okay before it is now working excellently. I called around to 12 shops and not a single one would look at my vehicle. 8 of them flat out refused and 4 of those shops never called me back. Not A&D! They simply said Bring it in! We love a good challenge!. Their facility is top notch. If you have spent any time in a repair shop you know they are typically very dirty. Not A&D! The lobby area is very clean and well organized and the guys at the front counters are friendly and professional. I have never gone to a shop that has a mechanic, auto body shop, towing, car detailing and glass replacement all in one place. Chase at A&D made our experience seamless. My insurance does not have adjusters in MI and MA laws are different involving collisions making matters more challenging. Communication was spotless. Emails of the damage were sent immediately with attachments of photos and line item estimates. We were on our way home to the Chicago area from a family party in MI over the holiday weekend. We were surprised to find that they were open and despite being very busy they were able to squeeze us in. Comment: I got in an (injury-free) accident with significant damage to the car. Auto shops terrify me because I have been hood-winked before. I took my car to 3 different places, and finally chose A&D Repair.Once Chris got into my car, he discovered a lot more damage, so the insurance company chose to total the car. At this point, I would think most body shops would think their work was done and walk away.But not Chris. When he realized I was stressing about the insurance companys offered settlement, he offered to read it through and help me understand what the crazy long document was saying. And that wasnt all. He advised me in how to negotiate a fairer offer in so many ways -- sending me more accurate fairer auto comps which showed me how to do the research myself, giving me wording to use in my emails and phone conversations, encouraging me to push for a fair settlement, writing a letter to support my claim, etc etc etc. In essence, he was my cheering section from beginning to end. He did all this knowing hed get nothing out of all that effort -- he was just being kind.Oh! And he also responded to each of my calls/emails very promptly -- I can only imagine he would be even more meticulous if he were actually doing a repair job for us.I wish I had work for Chris to do for us. Comment: I own a boat and trailer and my trailer was hit at the Lake Lansing launch and the tail lights were hit and broken. I had some help by a great neighbor to replace the lights. However, one light was not fully corrected so I visited A and D repair for the first time and stopped in at 7:15 am on a Monday am when they were busy. I was given immediate help and the problem was fixed so I could travel safely. They spent about 20 mins with me to assure the electrical was set and then they didnt charge me!! To top it off, one of the guys there drove me back home to help me back the trailer into the driveway!! I live very close to the shop. I will use them again and recommend them highly.

Comment: A friend recommended this shop last week when I was at my wits end with my local Jeep dealer. They immediately set my mind at ease, treated me like a customer they cared about, and tracked down my tricky wiring issue when the stealership and several shops much closer to me wouldnt touch it. No complaints whatsoever on price, service or quality. AND I received a free loaner car. I was not expecting that. Changed my view of shops forever. Cant say enough good things about them. Comment: I have taken my 40 Class A motor home, 2007 GMC Envoy, and 2005 Chrysler Town & Country van to A & D Repair for a multitude of different problems. All were completed in a timely manner and at extremely reasonable cost. Two of the repairs were at least $100 or more less than the original estimate. When the motor home was ready for pickup I had just been recently released from having surgery and was unable to drive. The Owners of A & D Repair delivered it and parked it right where I wanted it. Now that is customer service. When picking up the other two vehicles they had been washed, vacuumed, and an air freshener hung from the mirror. The staff are all professional, friendly, and honest.

Comment: I was on my way to get hay with my 3 horse trailer and on my way up an expressway overpass, my trailer jumped of my hitch (totally user error). It was a frightening place to have this happen. It was a very busy road and we were on an incline on top of it. Fortunately, I was right between home and A&D Repair, who have worked on my trailer and trucks for several years so they were my first call. Eric came right over, assessed my situation, helped me get the trailer back on the hitch (properly) and made sure we were safe to continue. He was kind enough to do this without charge. I am so grateful for their speedy help so we could get off the road and out of harms way.Even without this situation we have been so happy to have them available to take care of all of our vehicle needs from body work, glass repair, mechanical work and anything that our horse trailer has ever needed. Now on top of all their normal work, they were kind enough to help me out of a bad situation that wasnt a part of their normal routine. Couldnt recommend them enough!

Comment: The folks here have high integrity. I brought a utility trailer in for rewiring and wheel bearings. They provided a courtesy inspection of the trailer and found that the unit needed a new axle. Rather than doing the work and charging me, they recommended not to do the work due to rust damage to the axle. This damage was not visible unless you were under the trailer. They saved me a lot since I was about to take the trailer on a long trip and could have experienced a breakdown along the way. Thanks folk.

I rarely write reviews for products or business, but this is an instance where I feel compelled to make an exception. While I have only been in a few times, I have received thoughtful and well-reasoned advice and recommendations from their staff and technicians regarding my vehicle. Comment: Nobody enjoys getting vehicle work done and the costs it can sometimes consist of. My car is ten years old and Ive never had to do anything to it outside of regular maintenance. Its reached an age that it needs some upgrades and I need to form a relationship with a repair place. I chose A&D soley based on these google reviews. I was very nervous going in and I just didnt want to be taken advantage of. As it turned out, this place is great. I absolutely loved the feature of texting me a link to my inspection with everything prioritized from what needs immediate attention, to things I should have upgraded in the future at my leisure. I had them take care of the immediate needs which was 2 new tires, replacing a control arm with ball joint, replacing rear springs and then a 4 wheel alignment. I asked around and it seems I paid an average price, but feel like i got above average service and quality. They even thought of the small things and vacuumed and cleaned my car which was just icing on the cake. And my car drives like it did when it was new. Im very impressed and i certainly feel my money was well spent. Ill definitely be returning to take care of the minor things that could use some attention in the future. Great job!

Comment: The people here are wonderful. My front passenger side window was smashed when someone broke into my vehicle at my work place during a particularly stressful week. The guys at A&D taped it up until the glass came in, then gave me a loaner car for the day while they fixed it. Not only did I have a new window when I picked it up, but they vacuumed all the glass out of my entire disgusting passenger side front and back! To top it off they washed the exterior. I cannot begin to say thank you as this was the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me. I cried the whole way back to work. Comment: Yesterday I called A and D because the heat in my motorhome wasn’t working. Due to the crazy storm I was unable to drive it to them. Instead of telling me to bring it in, someone volunteered to come to my house! I was in shock. Not only did someone come right over, he fixed the motorhome, and refused to let me pay him! He also spent the time to explain how I could improve my ownership experience with a little maintenance here and there, and again, did not let me pay him. He saved the day as we had an unexpected guest in from out of town who got to stay in the motorhome. I can’t say enough good things about A and D. They have always gone out of their way to deliver the BEST customer service experience, and their turn around time is always prompt. We will be taking all of our vehicle to them for service from here on out. They even have a body shop. Don’t waste your time taking your vehicles to the dealer or some random repair facility that doesn’t know what they’re doing and treats you like a moron.Take them to the Best, A and D.

Comment: I will always take my car here because I trust them with it which is hard to find. While repairs are somewhat pricey I know they are good parts and will last. Really nice employees here with great customer service experience. I know when I take my car here I have nothing to worry about and they will take great care of it. Comment: I brought in a car at about 11 am that needed its brakes replaced, oil changed, and the wheel bearing replaced. The car belonged to my friend and was completely undriveable. They were able to diagnose the problem and fix it by 5pm that same day so that my friend could drive home from Lansing to Grand Rapids instead of being stranded. It was super impressive!! Everyone was really friendly too.

Comment: Sam, Eric and their crew did an amazing job on our motor home. They treated it as if they owned it. I was very happy with the front end alignment. Their new alignment rack and their skills and persistence got the excessive wind sway out of the steering. and the brakes are like or better then when the rig was new. The tune up on the V-10 got me more power and better gas mileage. their attention to detail. was very appreciated.I was so impressed I took my work truck there. for an alignment, tire balance and other work cause if I trusted them with my motor home then I can trust them with my work truck.

Altough i have taken my vehicle back due to some issue with parts failure, at no time did they gave me any grief, checked out the repair issue and immediatley got on the case. Comment: Dan, Sam and all the guys here are great; Ive been going for years and am sorry everytime I choose to go to the dealer instead of A&D. Not only do they fix your car; but the prices are much better than the dealer for a Ford product. They fix your car as quickly as possible; they keep to their appointment times. Best of all, for a non-mechanic person, they answer questions over the phone and I have called during emergencies when I was out-of-state and they give me helpful advice. I am moving shortly, but will continue to have my SUV serviced by the guys at A & D.
