Comment: I just moved to the East side of the state and my equinox was making this clicking noise, so I asked around on Nextdoor for a good shop that was timely, affordable and wouldnt try to take advantage of me. A & A Auto was recommended numerous times. And from the first phone call to schedule my appointment, I understood why. They are so kind (!!!), timely, and affordable. I really expected to pay an arm and a leg to get my car diagnosed and fixed but it wasnt that bad!! Especially since I had 3 different things done to my car: actuator fixed/replaced, oil& filter change and sway bar links replaced. I cannot recommend this place enough! Im happy to say in the future I will only be taking my car to A & A auto! If all of that isnt reason enough to go there, theyre Lions fans too!

Comment: I just used A and A for the first time. I had a sound coming from underneath that they were able to figure out and fix. It wasn’t easy but they took the time and communicated with me as they progressed. My old shop closed due to retirement and he recommended these folks as well. I am happy he did. They took the time, communicated well and the price was reasonable. I will use them again in a heartbeat.I have used them a second time. Once again I had an issue with no clear solution. I had multiple warning lights on. They took the time to diagnose the issue and call me with updates. I had a bad wheel sensor. But as they went to fix it they ran into complications because my car is rusting out. Again - Vince and Paul called with updates and choices. It all worked out to my satisfaction. But the value is they communicate, are honest, and gave me choices when they could. I never feel I am being sold or told what to do. They talk to you. I appreciate that.

They let me know exactly what was wrong why it was wrong and how it was going to be fixed. The prices are fair, I also called to get an answer about an issue that I was having with my truck and they did not hesitate to explain to me the answer they didnt pass me off they didnt tell me Ill bring your vehicle in and well look at it they gave me the answer and didnt give me any hassle about it. I highly recommend this place as your mechanic. These people are so good that they have a long waiting list but its worth it!

Comment: Its very hard in todays world to find a business that is truly honest, sincere and cares about its customers (especially in the auto repair industry!). As a woman, Im already fearful that Im going to be taken advantage of because of my lack of knowledge about motor vehicles. I have been taking my car to Paul (the owner) for over 20 years. His business is family owned, and you often see his wife and/or kids at his shop helping out and being extremely friendly. His daughter even gave me a ride back to my house while my car was being worked on and picked me up afterword without charging a dime! She was so sweet and considerate - I didnt even have to ask and she refused to even let me give her a few dollars for her time. His wife, Kim, is always at the shop and is the most down to earth woman Ive ever met. His waiting area is always full of loyal customers who have nothing but positive things to say about Paul and his staff. Ive even referred my parents, children and friends to him, and they are all so happy to have a mechanic that they can trust. My mom brought her car into a repair shop close to A&A and they wanted to charge her an arm and a leg to simply look the car over. Paul, being the generous guy that he is, not only looked at the car himself, but also had one of his mechanics top off all of her fluids and fill up her tires. When my mother asked how much he was going to charge her, he simply told her to have a blessed day and remember him in the future and that he wasnt going to charge her a dime! I know he cant do that for everyone, but I found it so sweet and caring for him to do that for a little old lady living on a limited income. Needless to say, my parents are regulars at the shop. My father sometimes visits Paul just to say hi and talk shop. His mechanics are knowledgeable, skilled and their licenses to provide services are displayed in the waiting area so that you know, as a customer, that youre getting professional service. Paul is always honest with me and never tries to up sale or overcharge me on anything I dont need. He will explain the issues he and his mechanics found with my car, but will be honest in what he thinks is the most dire and needs to be fixed immediately and what problems I can wait a few months to fix to save up some extra savings so Im not strapped for cash. I have heard from many friends and colleagues of other auto repair shops that try to get their customers to buy anything and everything for their car, even to the point of telling them that something must be fixed at an astronomical price when, in fact, the issues are relatively minor and can be fixed for a fraction of the price! I cant tell you how many people I have referred to Paul or how much money he has saved me and my family, but what I CAN tell you is that for a family business to be in service for over 25 years means that youre dealing with a fair and honest person, as Im sure word of mouth is their best advertisement! Thank you, Paul, Vince, Jay and all of the other hardworking people at A&A. You have truly made a loyal customer out of me!
